Woah there. I highly doubt I said might. Smithville is a perennial playoff team. Wouldn't have said the word 'might'. If you find it, I'll stand corrected but I expect the Noles to make the playoffs again and be in the thick of the 1A North Title race.

Biggest setback for east webster this season?
I think their biggest setback may be losing Tyler Doss. He was such a huge part of the defense and the team. Not having Mack at WR will hurt, but they've got plenty of good receivers to toss the ball around to. Honestly, there's not much that has changed from last year for EW. That's why this year they should push hard for a playoff spot.

Both baldwyn's starting wide outs graduated how do you feel about their experience at the two wide out positions this year?
I still think they have good experience at receiver. Losing Martel, Clayton and Devonta hurts but I think Matt Gates and Ozzie Price can pick up the production and do well this year.

Strong in the secondary, plenty of returning starters. Front 7 improving day by day.

Ozzie probably more on D and Laquintez more on offense since Duke is expected to start at QB this year.

Do you Amory will be a playoff team this year in football?
I do. They were incredibly unlucky last year with injuries. If they stay healthy this season, no question they are a playoff team.
How will New Albany be this year?
I think they'll be much improved. Playoffs for sure. They're not happy how last year ended and they were a couple bounces away from beating Rosa Fort. I like what they have coming back.

How was the visit with Calhoun academy
It was good. I didn't get a chance to see them practice but I talked to Coach Melton and he's feeling good about this year.
What do you think about Calhoun City's offensive line this year?
It's going to be somewhat undersized in terms of height but they are quick and experienced. That will help big time going forward.
