I think the bats will come alive tonight for the Noles. JG Lipscomb is so difficult to hit and TCPS took advantage of that. I'm saying we'll have a Game 3.

It is a dead even contest. Eupora's coming in with hot bats and EW has some stout pitching. No way I can even pick a winner at this point!

Ah yeah Maxpreps rankings don't mean a thing. They're computer automated and go by numbers and wins rather than how good the team actually is.
Houston has beat Kosy 4 times and they have beat Houston once. Why are they ranked higher in the state than Houston?
Where is Kosciusko ranked higher than Houston? To be honest, rankings don't mean a thing at this point. It's just a projection and a number next to a name. Throw out rankings now. It's all about winning or going home. We all know Houston has the edge on Kosciusko. They proved it. No need to delve into it anymore.
For my East Webster & Eupora friends...

I know Taylorsville will probably be the team to come out of the South and they're legit. Won't be easy for EW or Eupora in the title series.

Cardiac Eagles? Eupora came to play tonight and capitalized! Gotta give it up to both teams though, what a great series. Now we get maybe the BEST north half finals match-up ever: EUPORA vs. EAST WEBSTER. OHHH YEAH!!!

Who in the north would you compare Cathedral to?
I'm not sure there really is a comparison to Cathedral. They are their own entity. If anything, they remind me a little of Greenville St. Joe's from last year. 1-9 they can all hit and their starting pitching is pretty stout. They have a unique mix of underclassmen with upper's that I haven't seen before. IF Cathedral happens to make it to the 1A State Championship, it will not be easy for our team from the North to beat them. It's certainly possible though.

Right now, I'm going with East Webster over Baldwyn. That means I have Baldwyn winning tomorrow night over Eupora but that's gonna be a tight one. East Webster's pitching has been so solid as of late I'm not sure anyone can hang with them.

1A State Championship in baseball? My money is on Smithville right now. The way they're swinging and their defense makes them tough to beat in crunch time. It'll probably be Cathedral and Smithville in the title and I'd favor the Noles.
I wouldn't count Eupora out just yet #lzrshow

How do you think smithville football will be without coach bubba tacker?
It was going to be a rebuilding year regardless of who was the coach losing the likes of Drew Lann & Tyler Hood. Now that they have a new head coach it will be even more difficult. I do think that the skill position guys returning such as Neil Knight and Hasten McKissick will be important. Should still compete for a division title next year but it won't be easy.
