Gonna be a slugfest. Hamilton needs the win to stay in the playoff chase. I like their chances but Coldwater has been a sneaky team to beat at home.

Gotta beat Falkner this week. Tyler and Drew will have to bring their A game. If they can slow down Jeramie and Jase, they have a shot.

Unfortunately extremely slim. SIA has been a runaway freight train no one can stop. Gonna be a tough one for the Cougars.

I still think the playoffs are a possibility, but the loss of Drew is huge unfortunately. Leading rusher, took the team on his back quite often. Drake will have to step up in that backfield

Gonna make the playoffs, I say they have a shot at making it back to Jackson.
Predictions on the rest of Calhoun City's season including playoffs?
They'll be favored the rest of the way in the regular season but don't sleep on Eupora. Junior Graham will have something cooked up and ready for City. In terms of the playoffs: Walnut, Bruce, and West Bolivar will be their biggest hurdles to jump. Right now, I'm beginning to favor City as my 2A North favorite since that was my pick at the start of the season but I'm still nervous about the injury situation. Gotta stay healthy.

It could get ugly. Sharkey-Issaquena is still unbeaten and they've been dominant all year. Didn't like how the Cougars played last week against Kemper.

Do you think this years Hebron team is better than last years?
That's a stretch, because that team had a bruising running back in Austin Foster and HCS is sorta missing that piece but having a guy like Justin Gordon with blazing speed may be the x-factor going forward.

Your prediction for the Smithville vs Falkner game?
I'm riding the hot hand of Jase Stroupe and the Eagles. Falkner has looked really good as of late, but you never count out the Noles on their home turf. If Smithville is gonna have a shot, the offense has to show up. Tyler Hood needs to have a BIG game.

Mathematically, EW still has a shot at the postseason. Now, my personal opinion says no they won't make it. But, if Eupora happens to lose the rest of their games, with one of those being a loss to East Webster, AND Okolona beats a Bruce or Calhoun City in their next two games, then the Wolverines are in due to head to head between Eupora and EW who would have the same division records. If Eupora wins at Calhoun City, it would all be over. Now, if there's a 3-way tie between Okolona, Eupora, and EW where the Chieftains & Eagles both lose their last 2, then I have no idea who goes and who's out. Confusing, I know.
Should there be a quarterback change for east Webster?
I've always said if you go to your backup QB, he better be an upgrade from your starter. I don't see that being the case whatsoever with Jack. Deangelo is really the only other guy that could be your starter but he's too valuable as an athlete around the field.
Taylorsville beat bay springs ( who has a SEC commit QB) 55-20 , I'd say they playing bassfield in the south game
