Thoughts on New Hope v. Aberdeen ?

I think it's going to be a great game. Aberdeen will be facing a secondary that's going to fly around and use their speed to their advantage. It's an even contest and New Hope is going to do everything they can to win this one. Aberdeen is the favorite though.

Everybody says that Amory's a playoff team this year. Is the true because i don't think so?

I think so. If they can stay healthy, they're definitely a playoff team. Nearly were last year through all the injuries they had. They were my team to surprise for this year so I'm sticking with them.

Do you doubt Noxapater on going to the playoffs?

It's going to be tough. Nanih Waiya and Pelahatchie are guarantees this year. Sebastopol is looking good so that 4th spot is up for grabs. Pater will be right there with West Lowndes and possibly French Camp.

Starkville Yellow Jackets or Oxford?

I'm taking Starkville. Even though Oxford has the home field, the Jackets are on a mission to prove something this year. It'll be a huge test for both teams since both are expected to be right at the end playing for a State Title.

Prediction on mooreville and nettleton game

Should be a great measuring stick game for both teams. Mooreville has to get the offense rolling and Nettleton needs to sure up the D.

Will bruce make the playoffs? If so what seed?

I think they will make the playoffs but making a seed prediction is still way too far off.

Tish county and mooreville game???

Good win for Mooreville. Lot of defense. Offense has a ways to go on both sides.

Do you think joe horns son will do any good at a small town school like mooreville and yes it is the JOE HORN that played for the saints

Yes, I know of him. I hope he'll get a chance. He's got the name, hopefully he has the genes.

Houston or city this Friday?

Tough one. Real tough. Houston has some major momentum going on right now from the jamboree win and their stout performance at Pontotoc. Not sure I can pick right now! If I had to take one or the other, I think City will inch one out but the Toppers have something to prove in that one.

What do you predict mantachies record to be?

I won't make long-term predictions because that's unfair to the team but I think there's definitely a great chance to be above .500 this year for the Mustangs once again.

What did you think about the Baldwyn/ nettleton game?

It was a strong comeback by Baldwyn but the Bearcats can't underestimate any of their opponents. Also I think Nettleton is a lot better than we are giving them credit for this year. Both teams showed some good attributes.

What did you think about new Albany vs water valley game?

Extraordinary comeback by NA, tough victory for WV to hold on. Both teams should come away feeling good about that game in many ways.

do you think kossuth will beat mcnairy central Friday?

They've got a shot. MC has pretty ridiculous numbers for their team in comparison to Kossuth. Aggies almost beat them last year, let's see if they can do it this time around.

How is center hill looking how well will they compete against tupelo

Competed well against Horn Lake, but lost. Tupelo is far and away a better team than HL so the Mustangs may be in trouble on Friday.

What are your thoughts on tcps

It'll be a rebuilding season for TCPS since they didn't play last year. They've got a great coach in Shaune Holiday who'll keep the team upbeat and ready for the challenges ahead.

How do you think Tupelo will turn out this year

Long way to go but I'd say the season looks incredibly bright. Friday night showed how nasty they can be on D.
