Good question. That's a tough match-up against a 5A team in Saltillo Thursday. I would say they may hold him out one more week since it's a Thursday game and a day earlier but I could see him playing.

New site or independence ?
I'm taking Independence. New Site had a tough, hard-nosed win at Columbus Christian this past week but the Wildcats are much tougher.
What do you think about the tach and mooreville game??
Pretty stunned. Mantachie has some things to work on with the defense. I was really impressed with Mooreville. They can run the ball VERY well with the Ruckers and Taylor Franks.
Bruce doesn't need more discipline. it's the referees they're terrible. happens every year. water valley always has to cheat to beat Bruce.
Now now. Don't blame the referees. Play the game. Tough one either way regardless of how the game is officiated.
What about brooks shannon from north pontotoc NOT scoreing against South.
I wouldn't worry about that. North scored 63 points and got the W. That's all that matters.

How do you think CC will do next week against Ripley?
Could be one of the best games in our area. Should be a good one. I give Ripley the slight edge but City is going to come out wanting to prove the doubters wrong.
what you think about the tupelo-saltillo game
I came away impressed with Saltillo the most honestly. Hanging with a tough Tupelo team showed that the Tigers aren't just a one trick pony. Yes, they have a great running back in Mookie but man their defense is nasty holding that Tupelo offense down. Both teams have big time potential going into the playoffs down the road.

What a thriller! And gosh NA has come so close so many times already this year. They can't get discouraged. Amory showed they could hold off a great team in a tough battle.
