What did you think about Booneville's win against walnut?
I thought it was a strong win. I was disappointed to see them struggle against north Panola in the jamboree but walnut is going to be a team to contend in 2A so that was a hard-nosed win.

How do you the #TheTach will do this season considering they lost some of their best players last year?
They showed against Ethel they will continue to be strong, playoff contenders. Not as talented as last year but I think they'll surprise this year.

How do you think Calhoun City did Friday?
I think they let off the gas pedal in the 2nd half but that shows how good Coffeeville will be this year. It was an encouraging start for City but they'll have to be better later on!

Marshall is going to be the team to beat in MAIS A this year. They're REALLY good. That said, I have them beating OHA but don't count out the Raiders making that a tough one on MA.
Who do you think will win the smithville-Hatley game?
I'm taking Smithville but I hope Hatley isn't discouraged by the loss to south Pontotoc because they played well in that game to have a chance to win!

You'd think this would be the year to end the streak for Baldwyn since it's a home game and they have good momentum following the win vs Nettleton. For right now, I have the bearcats but it's going to be a tremendous Skunk Bowl!

Who do you believe is the most underrated high school football player?
That's a tough question to answer because there's a lot of underrated players. Aberdeen has a couple WR's that many don't know about but if you want one guy I think Nanih Waiya's Jamarlo Smith is a star no one knows about. Keep an eye on him this year.

It's going to be an up-hill climb this year for FCA with so many new starters. But I don't doubt the Panthers will surprise a team or two this year

Absurd. What a crazy finish!!! I think it says a lot about both teams. Hatley, because they're making major strides as a team to win games and South for winning in the final moments. It's a positive for both teams!
