At this point it is belief. They've been in every game they've played now outside of the Itawamba game and they haven't been able to close it out. They're good enough. There's no question. They just need to have the killer instinct in the 4th quarter to win.

Pretty high scoring for a softball game! But huge win for the Lady Panthers. Amory is gonna be a tough out in 4A down the road.

Have you seen Booneville girls softball play? They are undefeated so far. Do you think they will go to state?
I have not yet but I know they've been on a torrid start to the season. They definitely have a shot at the 3A Title for sure.

I think he has the potential to. Definitely needs to add on more weight to his frame and get stronger but he's got the ball skills to play DB at the next level for sure.
Who has been the best QB in the lower classifications(1a-3a) so far this year in northeast ms.
Great question. For my money, I think Eupora's Trey Pittman has had the most impressive start to the season thus far in our area. He has so many weapons but he's a pin-point accurate passer and has a great deep ball. Aberdeen's Josh Williams has been great thus far as well.

Well they're unbeaten so far, won all 3 games by double digits. I'd say that's pretty solid. They'll have to bring their A Game for Houston to stay unbeaten

I like them a lot. They've got lots of good pieces. They're a good team but Duke Upshaw makes them a great team.
Thoughts on Eupora?
They're playing as well as I thought they would at the start of the season. Offense looks tremendous, defense has been stout. Just have to keep it up!

How good are East Webster's DBs
It's a good group. They're all fairly young, and still ready to prove themselves. Nettleton had a pretty proficient passing offense and EW was able to ground them.
You think lafayette has any chance against oxford?
Absolutely. It's the Crosstown Classic. It's a rivalry game, so throw the records out the window. It's all about how the game is played on the field, and you betcha the Dores have a shot at getting the W. Certainly won't be easy.
