Key Players on Northeast Lauderaldes football team?

Unfortunately, Northeast Lauderdale isn't in the WCBI viewing area so that's a team that I don't know very much about. Sorry!

what about the Baldwyn/east union game tonite?

Big game for region play and for momentum going forward. Baldwyn is off to a phenomenal start and so are the Urchins. Whoever wins that one takes over control of region play.

With a win tonight vs. Eupora would you believe that Calhoun city would be the team to beat in region 2-2A?

I'm still leaning towards Bruce in that division but a City win over Eupora would certainly help their region record.

What players can you think of around here that can hit the ball. Softball and baseball.

Our area? Gosh where do I begin. Will Golsan and Taylor Stafford are two guys I think of immediately from New Hope that can pound the ball. Josh Walden from Thrasher has been absolutely destroying it at the plate from what I've heard. Can't forget about Rusty Johnson from Eupora either.
In softball, DJ Sanders from New Hope is dominant at the dish. Courtney Roberts from Hatley has been great thus far as well. Those are just a couple names I can think of as of right now.

In your honest opinion, who is the number one baseball team in 2A?

I'd be inclined to go with the defending champs from Taylorsville but Bruce is off to a pretty impressive start to the season. For right now, I'd say #1 Bruce, #2 Taylorsville, #3 East Union as my top 3.

Do you treat your body like a Temple or more like an Amusement Park?

If by Amusement Park do you mean all the action I get from the ladies? Then no, I don't. Stupid question.

How do you think the Lady Eagles will do this season? With Hannah McDowell leading the team do you think they have a chance?

Eupora always has a chance to be great in softball in my opinion. They've been a little slow out of the gates and fairly inexperienced but there's no doubt in my mind they can win some games in region play and make things interesting in 2A.

Who are some good left-handed pitchers in 2a north for baseball this year?

Oh gosh I couldn't even begin to tell you about lefties unfortunately. All I know are the pitchers I like the best.

You heard about Stuart Coggins from Amory?

I've heard a little about him. He's played sparingly but seems to have a bright future.

who are the best softball players & baseball players from mantachie?

Baseball: Hunter Dill, Jake Roberts, Dustin Carrell on the mound.
Softball: Shanna Carnathan, MacKenzie Guin

Top pitching rotation in Bruce and Calhoun City's division?

I like the top pitchers from Eupora but top to bottom I think Bruce has the depth. When you have two 8th graders helping the cause, that's ridiculous to go along with the experience that's returned for the Trojans.

What do you think about Ripley High School's Baseball team this year?

Flying under the radar right now in my opinion. They've been a little slow out of the gates but are starting to hit their stride right now. Great defense in the field, gotta get the bats going a little more.

Who are some good pitchers from Calhoun city's and Bruce's baseball division?

Rusty Johnson has been great to start from Eupora. I've heard about this JP Stewart from Bruce who's an 8th grader that's looked pretty good early on. I haven't heard anything from Okolona. City is loaded from top to bottom on their pitching staff. East Webster has some talented guys on the mound as well.

What does it mean when a girl smiles at a boy?

She's head over heels in love. Duh. It's never happened to me so I wouldn't know.

Who are some baseball and softball players to watch in Monroe County?

Baseball: Jon David Poss, Jonathan Waycaster, JT Pitts, Turner Sanderson, Austin Bishop
Softball: Laken Armstrong, Breanna Edgeworth, Lane Kennedy, Alison Atkins, Courtney Roberts, Josie Booth, Bailey Boyd

Softball players to watch this season?

Whew, where do I begin...DJ Sanders at New Hope is the one I'm really watching the most. She's headed to UL-Lafayette. She's a superstar. Pretty much anyone on New Hope I will watch.
Ryan Holdiness from Nanih Waiya is really fun to watch. I'm keeping an eye on her. Autumn Frost from East Webster and Lane Kennedy from Smithville have a ton of potential. And we already know how good Chelsea Gates and Madeline Burdine are at Houston. That's a pretty good list of players to watch for me!

Any new Albany freshman to look forward to watching in the future in basketball?

I'm still waiting to see on a frosh to emerge on the hardwood for NA. Didn't see any from this past season.

Thoughts on the college attention that Jay Johnson is getting?

It's absolutely well deserved. He should be able to go anywhere he wants. He has tremendous speed for his size and great hands. I know schools are looking at him as a tight end but he could play just about anywhere on the field with his quickness and ability.

Any good upcoming sophomores in New Albany basketball that you know?

I'm keeping an eye on Miles Washington. Didn't play for the entire season but he's a guy the Bulldogs will rely on heavily going into next season, especially with his prowess in the paint.

Thoughts on louisville high baseball players? Who has potential?

Wyatt Roberts is just a freak of an athlete and he's got tremendous potential. Only problem is he's a better QB than a baseball player if you could believe that. If you want a big name that's going to light it up over the next two years: AJ Triplett. He's got power at the plate and he's great in the field.
