My perspective is we need to get past it and look to this year. Yes, it was the wrong call. It's time to move on. Use it as fuel to win it all this year if you're the Bearcats.

who is your favorite high school basketball team to watch, and why?
Right now, it's Baldwyn. I love the way they get after it on defense and are relentless on the boards. They play a lot like I would expect teams from my home state of Indiana would play and that gives me a nostalgic feeling. Aberdeen is right up there too but that may be different now that they have a new coach. Booneville's girls team is also super fun to watch because they get the most out of what they have. Michael Smith may be the best basketball coach in the state that no one gives enough credit to.

Good question. I assume we're talking boys. I think it's pretty even right now. Oak Hill will be strong this year but Heritage has a team you may want to watch out for.
Falkner or broad street?
Gotta ride with Falkner. They're playing for Chris and this is the seniors' last go around. They won't lose at home in the first round.
Eupora or hollendale Simmons?
I'm feeling good about Eupora this week. The road win at West Tallahatchie gave them some new confidence going into this week. Simmons is a tough team but I think the Eagles can get the W at home.
