You hear about the Bruce Water Valley game? Bruce's head coach and one of their players got ejected.

I heard it was a bit chippy towards the end. Bruce had something like 150 yards of penalties? I can't speak on the game much since I wasn't there but the Trojans have got to be more disciplined.

How far do you think Baldwyn could go once the playoffs get here?

As far as they can as long as they stay healthy. Calhoun City and Eupora will be their biggest threats.

What do you think about the Hamilton vs smithville softball game on September 23 jv and varsity??

We only cover varsity teams but it should be a good one. Hamilton got the best of Smithville this past week. Noles will want revenge.

what do you think about the Mantachie Mustangs so far this reason, and who do you think are the players to look out for?

I think they have a pretty steep hill to climb. Clayton Wood has to manage the game better for the Mustangs. Defense as a whole needs to step up.

Didn't get to see who got the wcbi game of the week. Who got it?

It'll be New Hope at Caledonia. Just BARELY beat out Saltillo at Tupelo. Both games should be awesome!

What do you think about Choctaw county football?

I think they've underachieved a bit thus far. I had pretty high hopes for them but I think they're still getting warmed up this year and they'll end the year playing their best football.

How'd you think jacob turner did coming in for duke the other night?

I thought he did a pretty good job. Managed the game well. He had plenty of weapons to throw it around to.

I have. MONSTER. He's going to be the next big football prospect coming out of our area when he becomes a senior. He still has 3 more years to go!!

Addie is a boss. She's gotten so much better each year with Hamilton. One of the best softball players in our area.

I think he's got tremendous potential. He looks the part, he's still getting accustomed to leading the offense. I really like him though.

Absolutely. If they're unbeaten then most definitely they are capable of winning State by the time they move up to varsity.

Should be a barn-burner. Hamilton beat Smithville last night and Amory topped Nettleton the same evening. I expect a close one!
