Why does Amory's football team seem to be so up and down? What do they need to do in order to be a playoff team next fall?
Up and down? This is the first season Amory has missed the playoffs in the last 15 years. I would say they've been the benchmark of consistency. They were hit hard by the injury bug last year and transitioning a new head coach into the fold so I'm not worried about them getting back on track next year. If they stay healthy, they'll be back in the postseason without question. Nearly made it in on the last night this year with all the health issues.

I think they'll be a playoff team next year. This past season was a transition season with Spencer and Boston. They were a HEAVY junior team this past season and I expect next year they'll be much better. I keep saying it: find a way to get the ball in Jimmy Baldon's hands. That kid can make plays.

What is your opinion on Itawamba's football team next year and where they will place in 4a
I think IAHS has a great chance to be in the top half of 4A next season. Vijay Miller and Hunter White are two guys that were strong towards the end of last year that I expect will have big seasons next year.
What did you think about French camp academy❓
I thought they were outstanding last Friday. Best team in 1A for sure. Had one of the toughest roads to make it to Jackson and they finished it off!

What do you think about Pontotocs basketball team this year?
I'm not sure, I haven't had a chance to see the Warriors yet. Hope to catch a game of them soon!
Did you see #75 from Lafayette come back in the game for 2 quarters after dude tore his ACL??
Eli is one wicked tough dude. Doesn't surprise me at all. He's got an incredibly bright future ahead of him. Hope he heals up quick!
When will the all state selections come open to the public?
I think next week they'll be released but we are releasing our All End Zone teams ALL this week so you can look forward to that!
How do you think Lafayette's season went?
All things considered, I would say it was a great season for Lafayette. With the slow start to the year, the way the Dores were able to finish out the year was phenomenal. Great things to come for that group especially with Devin and Tyrell back. Hope Eli gets back to 100%.
If you're jumping into basketball season you need to find a way to make it to Houston Friday night for the Houlka-Houston game! Always a great atmosphere for those games!

East websters football team next year?
Next year should be East Webster's year in my opinion. This season, they were a little ahead of schedule. Jack Wilson has another year under his belt, Deangelo Liggins is back, and the defense was largely sophomores and juniors. Gotta find a way to get through the division schedule though.

What do you think about saltillo's basketball team?
Well if they had the Pacers' Reggie Miller, I would say they're the best team in the state. By the way, you have the best name in the state of Mississippi. I was a big Pacers fan growing up and loved Reggie Miller.
Anyway, I think the Tigers will be solid. Losing AJ Hunt will hurt, but Jason and Jawon are already dominating this year so Saltillo could be a team to be reckoned with in 5A North.

How do you think new site football will be next year
The Royals should be MUCH improved with a stout junior class being seniors next year. New Site will be a team to watch out for next season I think if they can continue to crank out yards on the ground. Will need to develop a passing game to go along with the rushing attack.
