what do you think about Calhoun City against Bruce, the yearly rivalry?
Getting closer and closer to that special night but I've been saying all along this may be the most highly anticipated Skuna River game in a long time. So much talent on both sides of the field. Should be a dandy.

Ah okay. No disrespect at all to Houston, but do not put any stock in the Clarion-Ledger's top 5 class rankings. They are loosely based on the team records rather than how good the teams are. Focus more on the AP's rankings. I have a vote in those polls and they are much more reliable.
Houston vs Eupora?
I'm taking Eupora. The Eagles are HOT right now. I will say that this may be their toughest game thus far this year so we'll learn more about them

What did you think about choctaw county upsetting the number 5 team in 4A Houston?
I don't think Houston was #5 in 4A, but regardless it was a very solid win. One that CC really needed for confidence

What did you think about eupora and east Websters wins Friday?
Both were solid wins. Byhalia has been really bad this year but they're still a 4A team. Caledonia has had some success so EW's win was probably a bit more impressive

How do you think City will do against North Panola?
Hopefully they take them as seriously as they did with Ripley because NP is a TOUGH team with plenty of athletes. I will say that the Wildcats have been arguably the most impressive team in our area thus far next to Starkville this season.
Who is, in your thought, the best football player for Calhoun academy high school?
That's an unfair question to the entire CA team. It's a team for a reason, can't single out one person like that.

I agree with you that Eupora and East Webster are both good teams (football wise of course) but how strong is there schedule? I mean really, when you compare it to the other teams in their division they've play hardly anyone.
Both teams have played good and bad teams. Everyone does it early on. You want teams that will challenge you and others that will give you confidence that you can score.

I think it's time for Bruce to get a big W and this is the game to do it. West Bolivar is coming in with some momentum after beating East Side but it's time for the Trojans to win one.

They've been really strong this year!
Where did you attend college?
I went to Purdue University, a school in the great state of Indiana. Our football team is awful, but we're proud of sending a man to the moon (Neil Armstrong) and Drew Brees.
