You sound as if you have some ill-will towards the Raiders. Sure, they wouldn't be as good of a team. You can take Drew Brees off the Saints and they would be in trouble as well. Take Robby Donoho off of the End Zone and it wouldn't be the same. Yes, I just referred to myself in the 3rd person.

Gonna miss Kody and Quon a ton, but Austin Burdine is back. They'll have a shot to be good again this year.

Great win for the Trojans. Shutting out Amory is impressive. That win should give Bruce the confidence they can beat anyone going forward.

Your take on Houston?
I expected more from them this season, to be honest. Granted, I didn't expect a season like last year but I thought they would be a playoff team this season. They really miss Sharone Wright at QB. I think that's been the biggest hole to fill, not Chris Jones.
Opinion on Starkville Academy and their best player?
Tripp Janssen is Starkville Academy's best player by far. He gets after it on every play. The Vols have been a pleasant surprise this season. I thought they were going to struggle more losing Drew and a great senior class but they've had a good season up to this point.
Now I know people have been asking you about different match-ups in 4-2A , but what do you think the final standings will be in this rigorous division? In order, please.

I think Eupora has all the talent and heart to beat Bruce. Donta can't carry the whole team, but hey.. Neither can Pittman. It's a toss up but Eupora having that game at home might help out a good but.
I agree completely. Supporting cast will come into play for that game. Eupora has the mental edge as well I think.

What do you think about Zach Cruthirds for bruce?
Still trying to make his way into that deep lineup that James Ray always has on offense and defense but he has potential.

You don't have to be big to be good. Sometimes, it's all about the coaching and the mental advantage and that's what Oak Hill has.

Trust me we will slow it down. The secondary and I will have the passing game on lock down. I just hope the D-line plays good.
I'll hold you to that. I'm hoping for a great game and that atmosphere better be just as good as the Tupelo game when I was there for it!
The best players at Winston?
I really like Brad Stapleton. Not the biggest guy, but probably plays the hardest out of anyone at WA. Taylor Moody is a really good tailback as well.
Why are you so high on oak hill? They are not that good
They may not look good on paper or with their size, but their mindset and their coaching are some of the best in the state. They nearly took out Tri-County a couple weeks ago who at that point had won 40 games in a row. Don't tell me that they aren't that good because if you can compete with Marshall, Tri-County, AND Heritage and be in the game in the 4th quarter, you are not just a good team but a GREAT team.
Bruce or Eupora? Only two weeks away. What are your thoughts?
Gosh 4-2A is such an awesome division. It's like getting an early Christmas present every Friday with the games in that division. Eupora will have to slow down Donta Armstrong to have a chance to win that one and Bruce will need to figure out how to stop Trey Pittman. Bruce will have some animosity as well after losing the 2A north final last year to the Eagles.
Will oak hill be better next year?
They'll keep getting better year after year in my opinion. They're still young, which is crazy to think how good they are this year.
You are crazy if you think Oxford is going to just come to Saltillo Friday night and kill us. If anyone has a chance to beat them it's us. So we have a great chance to win. Our defense is going to stop Oxfords offense, no question about it. I just hope the offense steps up and plays good.
Who said Oxford was going to kill Saltillo? Au contraire, I think Saltillo has a shot to unseat the Chargers. But if they do, they will have to find a way to slow down that high-paced Oxford offense. Unfortunately, no one has been able to slow down Jack Abraham this year. If the Tigers can find a way to get ahead, they have a shot. If they get behind to Oxford, then it will be a tough road to rally.
What about Peyton Finch from North Pontotoc?
He has GREAT size and I want to see NP take advantage of that more on offense. You don't see too many receivers that are my height here in Mississippi. Hey Trey, if you're reading this, toss the ball up to Peyton more and use that size to his advantage!

Whoops, I didn't think it sent. What's your take on them this season? What about the future for them?
I think they're still growing. Bo Milton is a great coach and he's done well with what he has but I think they need to aspire for more. They have plenty of talent there. They should be making the playoffs consistently and competing for state titles like they have in the past.

What do you think about Trey Jolly from North Pontotoc High School?
I really like Trey. Without him, the Vikings just aren't the same team. They need him on the field leading the offense. He's got a great arm and he makes throws that I haven't seen others make all year in the state.

The movie? Ehh, it was alright. I had higher expectations of it.
What about Braudrique Boyd from New Albany?
Still young with room to grow. Should be a big part of the Bulldogs in the future.
