Defensively they looked really strong. Keeping that Lafayette offense in check is not easy. Offensively they've got some work to do

It's a toss-up right now. Both teams are going to be real good this year. It'll come down to who doesn't make mistakes since it's the opener

He'll continue to get better throughout the year. Now that he knows he's the full time starter, he'll get settled in and do well
what's your opinion on matthew gates as an athlete?
I really like what he brings to the table at Baldwyn. I know he played more on D last year but id expect he will be utilized more on offense this season.

I didn't get to see much of him. He certainly looks the part for the Aggies.
Duke threw the ball well from what people are saying today but only had one touchdown pass
Just because he had 1 TD doesn't mean much. He'll get most of his TDs on the ground. As long as they can use the pass to set up the run they'll be in good shape.

That Duke is a better passing QB than I thought. Wow he just opens up a whole new offense taking the snaps. I really liked what I saw from them.

I thought they'd do better honestly. Turnovers really costed them. I know they're extremely experienced going into this year and they didn't play like it at times. That experience will have to step up!

I did. Offense really got a chance to ignite which was great to see. Defense looked nasty at times. I liked what I saw and Hamilton is going to be a good team so that was a tough test
How do you think the V-Men did today against Saltillo
I thought they looked good at times. Defense will need to be sured up if they want to make a run in the playoffs. Offense will pick it up when the season gets rolling

It's still a dead heat between Brady Anderson and Brody Burchfield. We'll see who's starting next Friday!

It will be very tough to repeat in a difficult 2A North. I haven't made my prediction yet but you'll find out on our end zone preview show on Monday!

I saw them last night towards the end of their game. I really like the way their defense flies around to the football. Offense will be a work in progress but they're going to pound it out on the ground with the talent they have.

The whole team. Seriously. They're really REALLY good this year.

I thought they looked really good. The offense was inconsistent at times but I really like Bryce Collins at QB and Devin Wilson can run you over at RB.

Who do you pick to win the Hatley and South Pontotoc this upcoming Friday?
That's a tough pick to make. I think both are going to make major strides this year. Hatley has some top-notch talent coming back and I like the direction South Pontotoc is going with new head coach Michael Bradley. If I had to pick today I'd probably go with the Cougars but it is super tight!
You're right Amory is a lot better this year.
Much improved. I expect them to have a really strong season this year.
