Best team in the state is Starkville. It's not even a question now they way they've been playing. Brady Davis said he and the offense struggled and they won 43-0. That tells you everything

Houston gave Eupora a run for their money tonight. What team impressed you the most?
Honestly both teams were impressive. Eupora wants to spread you out and Houston wants to grind it out. Both teams showed flashes of strong play and I think that both teams can take positives from last night

I think they're beginning to round into form. That Hamilton win was very impressive. Jase and Jeramie have to continue to keep that offense on track

Thought Winston would make it more of a game but that's more about how strong Starkville Academy is. Man the Vols are GOOD.

*I'm really pulling for City to stay unbeaten, but I think this will be their toughest test of the season. North Panola has got some extremely talented athletes and they're a different team when they are playing at home. Right now, I think NP will pull out a squeaker but I really hope the Wildcats can pull off the W and cement their place as the best team in 2A!

Nowhere to go but up for this upcoming season, honestly. Last year was tough, but they definitely have potential since they were young last year. The sophomore class from a year ago will really have to bring it. Also find a way to get Phillip Tyra on the basketball court since he's 6'6.

That's a great question. I don't think it would've been a blowout like it turned out, but I think eventually Saltillo would have woken up and gotten the win. Having the game delayed to Friday was definitely the worst thing the Bearcats could've imagined.

Getting through 1A South is going to be very difficult with the likes of Cathedral, Nanih Waiya and Resurrection Catholic. I think they are definitely a playoff team but repeating will be extremely tough. I will say they have been much better than I thought since they are going through a heavy rebuilding season.
