How do you think east webster will be in softball an baseball in 2015?
They'll win it all again in softball in 2015 no question. Baseball I think they have a shot to make it to Pearl. They may have to go through Eupora again though as the Eagles were even younger than the Wolverines this past season.

It is not. I spoke with Coach Merchant directly and it has not been made official nor is it confirmed. There are still things to be worked out.

I believe they had an assistant coaching change but I don't think anything else has changed from what I've heard.

That's still not completely official or public knowledge so let's wait off until it has been confirmed.

Should be strong as well. They were young last year.

They have the potential to be a State Championship caliber team next season. If I'm not mistaken, I don't think they had one senior on the roster from this past year. Pitching is strong, you've got plenty of contact hitters at the plate...it all adds up for the Trojans in 2015.
they say south pontotoc is gonna be something this year with the new coach an new players that are movin in! what do you think?
I would agree with that. I think they'll be good enough to make a run at a playoff spot. Coach Bradley will get the kids in line and playing his brand of tough football. They'll be a difficult team to beat and I really like the way Wesley Ross plays. Good things are on the horizon at South Pontotoc.
Basketball
I think both can do it, but the girls team will be favored to do it again since they were extremely young last year.
Any ideas on Falkner's new basketball coach (girls)
I haven't heard any names as of yet.

I have not heard anything as of yet. Hoping for something soon since summer workouts are getting going.

Basketball should be a seamless transition. Coach Craven knows what it takes to be a head coach. Still waiting on how softball goes.

What do you think about Eupora and how all the sports did this year?
You could say it was one of Eupora's more successful athletic seasons in recent memory. Football team finished 9-3, basketball teams were competitive, baseball made it to Pearl. All those added up show it was a strong year in sports for Eupora.

Should still be VERY good next year. Micah McCain, Kyle Noe and Neil Knight are the 3 guys I'll be watching for next season on the diamond for the Noles.

Was you suprised at the outcome of smithville and cathedral?
Maybe the score-line because I anticipated it being closer but Smithville's win doesn't surprise me one bit. The Noles are rolling right now and the bats were big time today. Tyler Hood was a beast on the mound and if they can get that kind of pitching in Game 2 then that Gold Glove is coming back to Smithville!
