Is Godley the kicker for 6a in Starkville and can he compete against West Point's?
I believe my boy Godley is still kicking it for Starkville. If we're comparing Omar Lemus and Michael Godley it's a tough call but I think Godley has a bit more power in that leg of his.

If you are predicting East Webster to lose a state championship in softball then I laugh at you.
I don't think Jessica will be able to take Autumn Frost's position at catcher.. She has earned her spot behind the plate and with the bat! But Jessica will be a good addition
Blast it, I totally forgot Autumn plays catcher. Yeah no way that happens but she'll provide some great depth!

Pretty solid backfield with the Riley Bros returning and Sam Harrell. OHA can't afford to have Drew get injured this season.

That's not even fair that East Webster gets a player of her quality. She's impressive for her age. Only makes EW that much more of a favorite to pull off another title.
How do you feel about baldwyn's secondary this year with the two upshaws and gates all starting?
Quite possibly the best secondary in Class 2A next to Bassfield. Having Laquintez and Duke manning the corners is like having Darrelle Revis and Nnamdi Asmougha in their prime on the high school level. Not much will get past them or thrown at them.
Softball
I've been pretty vocal about my love for my Lady Wolverines in softball. They're going to tear it up again and win it all in Class 2A. No doubt.

Of course smithville and Hamilton Are going to win state championships- they play teams that are worse than Aberdeen in every round of play offs. Its not fair. They have no competition like amory and Fulton do- with Tish Corinth & pontotoc. We would have state rings too if we played those teams.

I think they'll be better. Hatley's athletics as a whole I feel are really starting to turn the corner, football especially. Baseball and softball will always be good with basketball continuing to steadily improve.
So Trey Pittman is a big target for the football season?
He's been the Eagles' starting QB for 4 years so I'd say he's a pretty integral part of Eupora's football team!

What is gonna be the biggest difference for smithville this year in sports to last year.
I think the biggest difference will be the expectations. Now that Smithville has shown they can win Championships and play for them, the Seminoles will have expectations higher than they ever have from their players, their fans and their administration. Couldn't be more excited for what's to come at Smithville. Last year was just the beginning!
