Are bench warmers important for a team to be successful?

ABSOLUTELY because I was a bench warmer and my coach told me how important I was to the team. Maybe he was just trying to make me feel better but I believed it.

Do you think Saltillo will win state in soccer this year?

Are we talking boys or girls? They sure do have a great chance in both but in girls they're by far one of the best 5A Teams in the state right now.

Hatley think they can hang with 3A? Haha I ain't ever laughed so hard: they barley made it to playoffs in 2A

The division they're placed in 3A isn't daunting in terms of football powerhouses so they can definitely get in the mix.

What about nettleton? Do you think they're anygood this year in softball?

They are ALWAYS good at softball. They'll be good again this year and challenge for the 3A Title once more.

Do you think hamilton has a chance at state title in baseball/softball

Probably a little better in softball since 1A Baseball has some loaded teams this year. But yes, in both sports they have a great chance.

How do you feel about Bruce's basketball team

Both teams off to slow starts but they have potential to get back on track when division play really picks up.

You got a gamer tag? You can get the beat down in NCAA or FIFA

It's WLDTrain22 but I rarely get on much anymore. Maybe I can take it to you some time soon.

Do you play video games?

I do. Lately I haven't had a chance to play but I'm an avid NCAA Football and FIFA player & I dominate in Mario Kart

Who will be baldwyns toughest game this year?

Kind of hard to tell right now. I'm not sure they'll face a super difficult test the rest of the regular season outside of their rematch with Saltillo. May have to wait and see who they are matched up with in the playoffs.

Can you explain how the state championships in basketball work??

Here's how I saw it explained:
There will be a home team for every game after the division tournaments and before the state tournament, with the higher-seeded team serving as the home team for the first- and second-round games.
In the past, the tournament consisted of semifinal and final rounds and was played over an eight-day period. Now, the tournament will be a 10-day event, going from March 3-14 and will be split between two venues.
The boys quarterfinals will be held at Jackson State’s Athletics –and Assembly Center March 3-7; this will be JSU’s first time hosting a major MHSAA state championship on campus. The girls quarterfinals will be at the Mississippi Coliseum March 4-7. Hinton said the sites would alternate hosting the boys and girls in 2016.
The semifinal and championship rounds will continue to be played at the Coliseum.
It remains to be seen how the seeded teams will be separated and who will play each other. Probably will still keep some of a geographical look, just no more north and south half tourneys.

Technically no official north half championship in basketball any more sadly

You're right :( that's unfortunately true. Sad to see that go

Did yall have anyone at the biggersville Classic today?

We did not. Unfortunately that's just too long of a drive for us to make. Hope it was fun!

Calhoun City looks like they can compete with Baldwyn in basketball. Are they the 2nd team in 2A to watch for?

I think so. Once they get Brieton back that will help tremendously. Not having Chakel will hurt but yes, they are going to be another team in 2A to possibly keep up with Baldwyn.
