What are your predictions on the Smithville/Hamilton game??
Gonna be a good one. I'm inclined to lean towards the Noles after their great win over Falkner, but Hamilton has a 4-game winning streak going. It's a toss-up, no question about it.

Not sure if he's new since I've seen him out there most of the year but I think you're referring to Chris Blackmon? I haven't seen anyone else new at receiver for the Eagles.

I still think they are a State Title contending team. Gotta get the D straightened out after the loss though.
What freshmen from Smithville do you think will do work in the future?
Just about any frosh will work at Smithville. Got to have a strong work ethic and every player for the Noles has that.
Do you think Noxubee County's defense last year was better than Lafayette's 2 years ago when they won state?
Oh without a doubt. That Noxubee defense may have been one of the best that we've seen in quite a while here in the state. Javancy Jones, Dylan Bradley, Antonio Ryland, Jeremy Hunt...I could go on and on and on. They were deep, fast, and incredibly stout against the run. No team could do a thing against that D. They were so much fun to watch last year. That defense is beginning to really channel their inner 2012 this year with how they've looked in division play this year.
Thoughts on nanih waiya's football team this year?
They've been a pleasant surprise this season. Jamarlo Smith and Isaiah Eiland have been top notch this year and Stewart Ball has stepped in and done a great job at QB. The line play was very impressive in the win over Noxapater. If they keep playing like that, they will continue to be a team to watch all the way.
Do you believe oak hill will win this week?
I believe they can. Absolutely. Getting past Centreville will not be easy though. It's great to see them in the playoffs once again but they are banged up pretty bad.

I think my thoughts on The Tach are well known. I'm a big fan of the Mustangs and their football team.
Do you think 4a North could possibly be the worst its ever been?
I'm not a fan in dealing with absolutes and high school football but 4A as a whole is definitely down this year. That's not to say there isn't talent in that class. It's just going through a transition.

Stringer's Tevin Moore is the best athlete you'll find in 1A. Dude can do it all. From our area? I really like Jase Stroupe from Falkner along with Hamilton's Quinshay Heard.
