What do you think about the Pontotoc and Shannon game?

What a thriller of a game. I think Pontotoc making it into the playoffs as a 3-seed shows that even with their youth, they're on the right track going forward. For Shannon, the Red Raiders are still building towards getting back to the glory days. Phenomenal finish to that game though. Both teams have the potential to pull an upset in the playoffs.

Who has the nicest stadium in the area?

Hmmmm that's a really good question. I'd probably have to go with Tupelo. Nicest press box and field lay-out I've seen in the area. Starkville is up there as well. Of course, the bigger schools are going to have the nicer stadiums but one of my favorites is The Hollow at Pontotoc. You don't get too many cooler fields built like that.

How far do you think Ripley High School will get in the playoffs?

I like their chances against Pontotoc but boy they didn't get any favors playing Noxubee County in the next round if that's how it works out. I still think they can make it all the way to Jackson but it certainly isn't as easy as it once appeared to be for the Tigers.

How do you feel about Mooreville

I think they're talented enough where they should be in the playoffs but unfortunately that loss to Belmont looms large and left them on the outside looking in.

You think Houston deserves to go to play-offs?

Deserves? That's tough to answer because I think every team and every kid who plays football here in Mississippi deserves a chance to play in the postseason. But there's plenty of discussion on that matter. I'm always glad to see an area team in the playoffs

When will we know who Smithville plays in the first round of playoffs??

MAN was that a slugfest. MAJOR props to both teams. They came to play on both sides of the ball. But wow, Hamilton has some kind of toughness and determination. If I was from Region 2 right now though, I wouldn't want to play EITHER team in the playoffs. Hamilton now has a shot at winning the division.

Bloody? I didn't know that. The Rip-NA rivalry is another big one in the state. I wish I could go to one soon. Tomorrow night should be another great one!

How about that Coffeville vs. Faulkner game?!

Count me in as STUNNED. It didn't help that Jeramie and Jase both got hurt for Falkner but my word if there was any question as to whether or not the Pirates are for real, this cemented it. Hamilton though still has a shot at winning the division if they beat Smithville tomorrow and take out Coffeeville next week.

Probably TC Hatchett at Choctaw County. Dude has been a ball-hawk all year. He leads the state in INT's I believe.

Why'd you say na could go to the playoffs if they beat Ripley then later you said they couldn't you contradicted yourself

Because I didn't know that Byhalia and Lafayette were playing each other this week when I answered the previous question a few days ago. I was only focused on NA and Ripley. My apologies.
