Depends on whether or not Bruce plays for pride. East Webster has more to play for and they're at home so I'd favor the Wolverines but we shall see.

How do you think EW looks for next year? Baseball an softball?
They're a year ahead of schedule in baseball I feel like so I wouldn't be surprised to see them be even better next year. The Lady Wolverine softball team is a perennial State Championship squad every year, so nothing changes with them next season from this year. Or the year before...and the year before that.

Who are some players to watch for east webster in baseball playoffs?
Derek Jones and John Wofford Williams are two guys I'm looking at that need to be big at the plate. Brock Flemmings needs to bring it on the mound.

North Pontotoc already clinched the division title I believe but I wouldn't be surprised if Kossuth takes 2nd in the division with the way they're playing.
North half ... Baseball
There aren't really standings for north half baseball but the top teams in 2A North at this point in the season are Baldwyn, East Union and East Webster.

In terms of overall success, it's hard to argue against your statement. 2 State Championships, 2 Division Championships. Preston Dedaux carried them the last 3 years I know. I saw both of their State Title games live and man could they play in the trenches. They were super tough to stop when they had the lead on you. I would say yes, they're in the Top 5 based off the last 4 years. They're in the same conversation as South Panola, Starkville, Bassfield, and Lafayette. That No. 5 spot would be Picayune with Hazlehurst not too far behind at No. 6.

They do. It's still up in the air but if they win out and get some help, they can make it in.
What happen to mantachie last year? They made playoffs last year in 3A but didn't make it this year in 2A. I heard they had the talent to have a run at winning the division this year, but they didn't even get the 3rd seed.....
Their division in 2A is pretty rough. Baldwyn & East Union are 3A/4A type of teams plus New Site & Hatley are always difficult. Just a different season with different obstacles. They definitely had the talent, just couldn't put it together.

I'm not sure of softball but baseball they did not.

It looks that way, yes. Needed to win tonight to have a shot at getting in as the 3rd and final team from 1-2A.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like they will.
what do you think about amorys baseball team. I think the year before last was a good year for them. are they any competition?
They've definitely struggled this season but they've always got potential to be North half title favorites.
