Kosciusko or Itawamba AHS?

I'm going with IAHS but I'm concerned about how they played last week. Maybe it was just an off night for the offense but Kosciusko is a legit team. Don't mess around with the Whippets.

What do you like about Baldwyn's basketball team?

Just about everything. The way they play, their focus on man to man defense, their ability from the perimeter, guard play, defensive intensity. Everything.

Who do you think will win between Calhoun City and South Delta ?

I think Calhoun City will still win but this will not be an easy game for them. South Delta is a tough team to play during the postseason and even tougher when you play on the road against them.

Cleveland or lafayette?

I'm picking Lafayette because I think Cleveland has lost their edge after falling to Greenwood and losing their undefeated season. It will be a tough game for the Dores. Gotta bring the rushing attack.

Tupelo or starkville this Friday? Who wins?

Right now, I'd go with Starkville but this is an old school rivalry. The kids that play now a days may not realize that so beware of a game like this. Golden Wave will come to play.

Are you impressed that oak hill academy beat noxubee high in basketball?

That's a solid win but Noxubee doesn't have their guys from football yet. Nevertheless, that's a real solid win yes.

Bearcats or Wolverines?

Way too close to call right now. I think this will be arguably Baldwyn's toughest test to date, other than Saltillo. Bearcats should be favored but EW is not an easy team to defeat.

Who is oak hills best basketball player?

I don't like to single out a 'best' player but the Riley Bros. are two solid guys. So are Kaleb Darnell, Riley Pierce and Chance Wilson.

Aberdeen or North Pontotoc?

It's really too close to call right now. I'd give a slight edge to NP with the homefield advantage but Aberdeen has played REALLY well away from home this year so it's a dead heat I think.

How do you think the Hatley baseball team will do this year?

Remains to be seen, but I think they'll be much improved after last year.

Thoughts on EWs game last night?

All around strong performance. Offensively and defensively they were super solid. It only gets tougher from here!

How far will EW go in the playoffs? Do you think they have a chance of getting past Baldwyn?

They definitely have a chance to beat Baldwyn but it will not be easy at all. If they pull the upset, then I think they could make it to the 2A North final!
