I think they have a couple key guys. Brandon Townsend and Damien Fields are two guys that had top-notch games last night on the ground. They are big to Houston's success. Taylor Baskins needs to continue to manage the game for the Toppers to be successful & Tay Bowden has to keep playing big on D.

I thought it was a tremendous game. Action on both sides. Aberdeen at this point has a mental advantage on Amory. The Bulldogs expect to win the A Game every year and the Panthers have got to end the streak soon!

It won't be a domination. Saltillo is legit this year. I think Tupelo will get the W but they'll have to outlast the Tigers. Saltillo will make it a game for 4 quarters.

Yes, super shocked. That shows you how things change every week in high school football. But it also shows you how good Houston can be.

We don't cover JV football because we have so much to focus on with varsity AND that gives the kids in JV something to work for to move up and play with the big boys. Keep working hard and you'll earn our coverage!

Nothing against Smithville, but I think caledonia just has too many guys and are too deep for the Noles to hang with. Cal outlasted Heritage and got up on Hamilton early and I think they may do the same against Smithville.
