what do you think about baldwyn football this year?

I think I've been pretty vocal about how much I like Baldwyn this year in football. As long as they get their QB situation figured out, there's big things on the horizon for the Bearcats football team.

What is this in regards to? Sorry I get a lot of questions.

How do you think Corson Gunn will do this year

I think Corson has the potential for a break out season. He started coming onto the scene last year but this season with another year under his belt he's got the potential to have a huge year at receiver. I think he's a diamond in the rough kind of player.

Options on south pontotoc? who are their best players? what's the season gonna look like for them? Iv been hereing play off contenders for sure

I think they have the potential to get back to the playoffs and that's definitely what they're shooting for. Losing Wesley Ross will hurt since he was their bruiser at QB but guys like Clay Hood and Colton Rogers will be big parts of the team. I like what they're doing thus far.

Best football players from Eupora?

You literally could pick anyone from that junior class that are now seniors. They are loaded with talent and skills. No way I can single out just one.

I still CC representing the north this year

I can definitely see it. They're so many great teams in 2A North it will be hard for any team to make it out!

I just don't think Bruce has the big game ability to put it together, city and eupora have both recently experienced the state championship. For Bruce before the first thing they have to get over is City (who has OWNED) them the last 7 years

Quite true, but there's a reason why it's called history. Because it means nothing when you step out on the field. Sure, City has the mental advantage over their rivals from Bruce right now but the past has no bearing on your future unless you make it that way. Bruce has played in big games before, and won. It's just whether or not they can do that this year with the talent they have returning.

As I take a look at 2a north football this year. I see the eupora, CC, Bruce and Baldwin being the main contenders. It'll ended up being CCvsbaldwyn in north half. (With CC on top) because as effective as passing is you can't do anything more effective then hitting other teams in the mouth

Don't sleep on Eupora or Bruce. They were extremely junior-heavy last year. But I think you've got a good eye on things. Class 2A is going to be so much fun to watch and monitor this year. Every team is so tough in our area.

What are North Pontotocs football chances this year?

Better than you might think. Yes, much will be made about losing Trey Jolly, Murphy Daniel and Marcus Green but the talent the Vikings have returning makes them a formidable foe in Class 3A. Caleb Nelson will be the key at QB. If he can develop and take over this team passing, then watch out for NP this year.

Have you been out of the country?

I have. Twice. Once to Cancun for vacation, the other to Belize on a mission trip. Never been across the pond which is on my bucket list.
