What is your opinion on Jalen Bell?

I think he has all the skills to be a big time prospect. Just a little more game experience and find tuning and he could be the next superstar from Monroe County. Very agile for his size I think is the #1 take away

What about Vardaman? You're asking about all of Calhoun County!

You don't believe Bruce can compete for 2A in baseball?

I never said they couldn't 'compete'. I said it will be hard to get through the likes of East Webster, Eupora, Calhoun City, Baldwyn, etc. They'll definitely be there, no question. That youth from last year is a year older and this could be a big year for them.

What do you think about Baldwyn Athletics in general?

Very strong. Always strong. Football sets the tone and basketball and baseball do major work.

Do you try and keep up with the major D1 recruits for football?

I do my best. For the most part I'm up to date with what they're doing.

Will nettleton baseball have a good season this year?

I think so. They have a strong junior class returning from their special season last year. They do lose some great seniors but I think the Tigers could break out in 3A.

Best baseball teams in your opinion?

We still have a couple more months to figure that out right now! I'm still getting ready to finish football and get going on basketball.

Amory baseball this year? They have a good senior class , and 3 good freshmen!

Very good senior class. Yeah I've been asked a couple questions on Amory baseball and I think they have the potential to make some serious noise this year. Watch out.

When people snapchat you, do you snapchat back?

I do most of the time. Sort of depends on the time of day. Sometimes I'm super busy and can't get to it but normally I'm pretty good about it!

upcoming stars in football for Amory?

Everyone needs to read this: WATCH OUT FOR AMORY NEXT YEAR. Just about the entire offense was made up of sophomores and juniors this year. There are some big time big uglies returning. None bigger than Jalen Bell, who we all need to keep an eye on especially next season on the O-Line.

What do you think about Baldwyn chances in baseball this year?

I think they have the potential to be very good again. Plenty of good bats and arms on the mound. I know they want to get back at it after being so close last year losing to Eupora.
