Do you think starkville academy's jr high basketball teams will be any good?
Unfortunately, we don't cover too much of the junior high sports. Mainly varsity high school teams but I always have high hopes for SA's hoops teams!

I would imagine very soon. I'm surprised I haven't seen them yet actually. But I hope to in the coming weeks.

That's a good question. I think I would be leaning towards Amory with everything they have returning. Saltillo loses a lot with Mookie graduating and I think the Panthers know a little more of what they're going to do for 2015.
Top players in 6A baseball?
I think you can pretty much take the entire DeSoto Central team and say they're the top players in 6A Baseball. They have some studs.
Who do you think are going to be the main players for the Starkville High soccer team next season, no that the seniors are leaving?
It was such a strong senior class that's leaving that I would expect the entire group of next year's juniors to be pivotal since the senior class of next season will be small in numbers.
When do you think Starkville baseball could win state??⚾️
That's a good question. I think they've hit a tough run recently moving up to 6A but next year's class has potential and after that there are two more very solid groups. I think it's only a matter of time for when Coach Garner gets the Jackets playing like State Title contenders.
Alright so what about the best pitcher of the SHS Yellowjackets?
Oh man, that's a tough one. I'd put Colbey Rivers and Justin Conner up there. After that, I'm not sure.
any freshman for Mooreville baseball that stand out from the rest
Andy Franks and Andy Peugh have stood out and have had tremendous freshman campaigns. The sky is the limit for both of them.

Good question. The outline in red is what we consider to be our viewing area. Any school in this area is considered to be an area school of ours. We also go into Lamar & Pickens County in Alabama.

Immanuel Jones and Jartavis Jernighan have some potential for Amory, especially as ball carriers.

I think Adrienne Futral has the most experience returning for SA next year. She should be the one to watch for the Lady Vols.
At the moment, who would be your top three pitchers in 6A?
That's a great question and I'm not sure I could tell you since our 3 area schools don't have any of the top pitchers in 6A as of right now.

Booneville's upcoming senior class is somewhat devoid of main players but Chase Calvery will be one of the big guys to watch for next year.
Who are some freshmans and sophomores to watch for smithville baseball?
Well, we've talked about him a lot but Blayde Scott stands out right now for the Noles in baseball. He's got big things ahead of him. The sophomore class is so deep that you could see any number of guys come out and be guys to watch out for.

Cody Pate and Jon David Poss have had tremendous seasons at Amory. They're towards the top. Chance Witt has been killing the ball at Pontotoc this year. Brody Catt is doing big things at IAHS too.

I'm intrigued to see how Z Gates does as a junior. I think he's the guy to beat out at QB.
