Do you think mookie from Saltillo will go D1? And what's your take on him like how good is he?

He is VERY good. I don't know what sort of offers he's looking at, but he should go D1. Should and will are two different things obviously. He may benefit from a year at JUCO to raise his stock up and then head to the collegiate level.

What do you think about Jackson Prep? Beat Bassfield in a tough, hard fought game. Must be pretty decent.

They're better than decent. If you can beat Bassfield, you got something going for you. They've got another McGraw at running back and their QB Gene Wood was making plays all over the field in that game. I still think JA is better, but that's my personal opinion.

How is the east webster girls basketball team going to be this year?

Great question. I assume still very good with all of that height they have so I would expect good again.

Who do you think could be the team to upset Bassfield in Jackson?

From 2A North, I still think Calhoun City is the team to do it. If they can get healthy, I think they have the best shot. But the best team to upset Bassfield would be from the South, possibly East Marion or Lake. Even Taylorsville.

How do you think ripley has rebounded since they lost all three top scorers from their team last year Cody James, Ralph green, and Montrell gray?

Ripley has been nothing short of extraordinary. Like you said, they lost a TON from last year's team and look what they're doing this year. Dalton has been a blast to watch and so has the rest of that offense. I have high expectations now for Ripley.

Jessie Nabors (freshman) for Calhoun City?

Jessie has an incredibly bright future at CC. He's been huge for them on defense.

After City heals, where do you see them post-season wise?

I still think they can win 2A north. IF they get healed. That's a big IF right now. That's still Bassfield's title to lose though.

And that's what is holding them back! Gotta get healthy. Chakel and Cartin can't do it all.

I'm just saying they run 4 plays. Drew and drake are overrated.. And their secondary is awful

Bear Bryant ran 4 plays and he won 6 National Championships. If you can't stop those 4 plays, that's your fault. Again, keep ragging on Oak Hill. I'll keep feeding this to them for more fuel to their fire. They're already good enough to win it all.

Lavarious Varnado for Calhoun City?

He's been WAY too quiet to start this season. With the kind of talent he has, I should be hearing more about him every night. But right now, I think CC is underachieving and he's in that same boat. Wildcats need to step it up. They're way too good to be 3-3 right now.

Winston isn't even gonna make the playoffs. Oak hill would be your best shot and they suck

What's your prediction in State-LSU game?

I think LSU ends up winning it but it stays a game until the 4th quarter. Tigers by 10.

Darius Grayer from Starkville High?

Always been a fan of Darius. He's another guy that if you get the ball into his hands, good things happen. Princeton has plenty of weapons on that offense, Darius is one of them.
