Who's going to be the best basketball player at tremont this year for the boys?
Walker Adams is going to be the guy this year. I got to go up and down with the Eagles in an open gym a little while back and I think even without Cody and Daniel they've got some good talent to keep them tough this year.

As long as Connor McKay is handling the ball, their backcourt is going to be in great hands. That kid is incredibly talented.

Do you think it's ridiculous to say Baldwyn can go undefeated or maybe lose 1 game?
1-2 losses would be a better bet. Saltillo will be a difficult victory for Baldwyn to get since it's a 5A team with much more depth. Outside of that game, I can see them winning just about every other game but it won't be easy.
who will win the A-Town trophy this year
Man, that's a tough question. I think both teams have the potential to be big time squads this year with the talent returning. Not sure I could make a prediction yet but I'll say that the team with the home field advantage (Aberdeen) will be the favorite.
Favorite thing about Calhoun City?
By far it's Coach Liles. He has been one of my favorite coaches to interact with during my time here. He's a class act and is one of the best coaches in the state. The town of Calhoun City though has so much pride and history. The tradition there is second to none and they keep it strong every Friday night during football season!

Playoffs no question. After that, it's up to the Eagles how far they want to go. This is really the year to do it with their strong senior class. We shall see

Hmmm...that's a pretty tough question. To be honest, I'm not sure there's a bad fan base in our viewing area. Truly we have some of the best fans in the state right here in NE Mississippi!
What's your favorite thing about East Webster?
I'd say the people. They are always so warm and welcoming and they have been through so much. The fact they have such an amazing attitude and are always so wonderful to me makes me love them even more.

Really REALLY good. This could be the best team they've had certainly since the 2012 team but maybe even better.

How is EW softball team going to do when they lose Mamie and autumn
I don't expect a drop off at all. EW is a softball factory. They turn out players every single year and they all start playing when they're freshmen or sophomores. Mamie and Autumn are crucial to the team's success but I expect EW to pick right up when they graduate and continue to win.
Think Eupora softball lost a lot when they lost Allie Steadman?
Without a doubt. She was one of the best players in the state when she was playing high school.

Channing Tapley is pretty key at QB. If Landon Hill comes back to play at HCS that would be huge. Collin Moore and Hayden Carty will need to step up as well.
