Some people just cannot fathom gay people exist, believe me.
I've met people whereby the person in discussion is very obviously being gay right in front of him, touching another man's hands, waist, and everything short of taking out his penis and blowing it, and they still cannot work it in their brains that homosexuality is a real thing.
In their world, it's such a foreign concept that no way it can exist right in front of them. Their delusional bias starts to kick in.
It's the same as a kid seeing someone dead for the first time. You tell him that person is dead, but to the kid, death is such a new concept, and doesn't make much sense. They simply have no reference to rely on.
