what do you think if the smaller opposition parties? eg RP,PPP,SPP,NSP? Personally think that WP&SDP are the only credible opposition parties in sg. SDP isnt much w/o CSJ either.

The smaller ones should just give it up and disband. All a bunch of jokers. It's like keyboard warriors in real life.... and real life is different than online.

Will it be a cause of worry should PAP lose its political sovereignty? Do the oppositions as they say 'speak up for people'? Are they even sincere to serve people or do they just want seats? Because how sincere are they if they can trade electoral districts like they're at a market?

Opposition here is a joke. LTK can't even speak English and wants to claim first world parliament. He's gotten a bit more fickle, more evasive. What's WP's plan? Nothing. Just sit on PAP's coattails and occasionally add one dollar, two dollars to their policies. Rubbish.
Obviously I'm being biased. But really.

Actually your facebook post on Han Hui Hui makes a lot of sense. The people who seem to support her and are openly enthusiastic about it are mostly the elderly. I think her fight for #returnmycpflmao kinda resonates with the elderly, which is kind of heartwarming because she's doing something right.

Yes but she's also doing it the wrong way.

Where and what did you do for your polytechnic education? (random question because i see the word "politic" on your ask.fm and it sounds like/reminds me of the word "polytechnic" somehow....wtf.)

Film, sound snd video, Ngee Ann Poly

I just found out that voters can't wear shirts with political party logos, wtf. Is this real and has it been a rule for years?

Yes.

Do u think the results in GE2015 are somehow contributed by the ageing population in SG ? The loyal bunch of ppl. And it is not actually the voice of the younger generation ?

It's 50-50, I heard. People talk about new citizens voting but I don't think it can account for 10% of swing voters.
The Pioneer Generation Package did help, I think. Truly they are benefiting from it.
I would say though it feels like the younger generation are leaning towards the PAP. I don't know why. 2011, they were at least 17. They're the ones who grew up seeing PAP's change of tone after 2011. Possibility.

Gillian is obviously wearing White and not purple, the rest need to keep her in check and balance it out lol

She is an embarrassment.

hi what is wrong about vivian balakrishnan? many are against him

Killing cats,
Being possibly elitist, don't care about poor wools,
Busting YOG budget while at the same time saying SDP will bankrupt the country
Shooting himself in the foot so many times in just this one two-weeks election season.
I don't like this guy.

Dr V.B has kinda justified that the same post has been posted repetitively (no one would really do that on their own accord) even before today's incident. But nevertheless, what're your thoughts on it? Are people not too unreasonably blinded and harsh?

Personally, I'm just waiting it out. Let whoever has to do the legwork do the legwork. This is one of those things the public honestly can't do anything about. We don't have the resources. All these public noise serves no purpose.
It's just unfortunate that it's Vivian's face.

omg i read "It is not about the banner you stand under, but for the values you stand for." in Tharman's voice somehow...

You racist! Social Justice Warriors, activate!

Are you typically a pro-ruling party or otherwise?

I would call myself a political atheist. It is not about the banner you stand under, but for the values you stand for.

Oh. I find it so weird that they're anonymous because most of their tweets are not sexual at all but actually of substance and logic.

Why do you think I engage them? Haha.
I do disagree with some of their viewpoints, but it doesn't hurt to know about differences.

because they cannot vote on amendments to the Constitution, motions relating to public funds, votes of no confidence in the Government, and removing the President from office.

That's funny.

What do you think are the odds for Tin Pei Ling?

Good. She has done tremendous work the last 4 years. She's not TPL from 2011.

in the 2011, sdp got 40% and pap 60% of the votes for holland-bukittimah and csj wasnt even on the team then. so the chance of sdp is very high!

Yeah. But not sure about the make up of the constituency now that borders are redrawn. We'll know in less than 35 hours.

all people are fixated on is CSJ, barely anyone knows the others in his team. do you think that'll affect SDP's branding or collective credibility?

Of course. Who else is in SDP? The second name is Tambyah. Good man. The who else? Damanhuri, whom I only remember because he is allegedly invoked with the homophobic Wear White campaign.
The others? One woman who can't pronounce properly. Another guy who has a singsong voice. And another who loves stressing his R's in words even if it doesn't even exist in spelling.
But that would also ring true for other parties. Who are the quiet, less prominent ones in PAP? Who is that Chinese guy in Nee Soon? WP has people who tend to fade into the background too. So it's everywhere.

sdp will win holland-bukit timah.... right? :( csj needs to be in parliament (and not as a ncmp)

Hard to say. Even though the PAP team has been rather controversial, doesn't mean they're losing. The PAP brand is strong.
At best, a close call for PAP. Even better, CSJ wins.

Does WP win all their seats in the supposed results? :)

No. It would be juvenile to assume such.
Although it did say Aljunied stays WP, something I expected, and also winning East Coast GRC, also something I half-expected but would really like to see. That would be huge, huge news. It would effectively almost polarise the country into opposition half and PAP half.
