How are you 27 and still single bro?

Choice. I'm not putting any effort looking for one, or open to receiving any offers.

That guy is not too bad as well, his stand on healthcare policies are pretty substantiated. Yup it's the NCMP thingy which they term as the 'best losers' from the opposition parties to ensure that there will be an opposition party in the parliament no matter what but I feel it's gimmicky.

Aiden
I think that would be the best bet to get CSJ into parliament. Give him the opportunity to prove his mettle.

But I doubt he would win the GRC though as some of the other candidates are not fully up to standard. He will well be better off running in one of the SMCs then we might be able to see him perform in the parliament

He's better off as independent, or at most with Tambyah as right hand man.
But I think they can pick only him to enter parliament through other means. Not so sure, think it's the NMP or NCMP route or something.

What are your views on Chee Soon Juan's election speeches? He seems like he's garnering quite a number of supporters and have made valid points about not wanting to be involved in gutter politics but constructive ones instead.

Aiden
No doubt he's been working on his speeches. Fantastic orator. I'll give him that. Body language, voice levels, where he faces, words used, sentence structure, it's all deliberate. He's truly the surprise this election, sweeping away everyone else. After all, rallies really are nothing else but for the sole purpose of... rallying up... emotions of the crowd so they'll vote for you. In this aspect, he is good.
I would like to see him in Parliament, for sure. The real work happens in parliament. Then you see if it all adds up.

Pardon me but I don't quite get your last statement about doing better. Do you mean like better choice of candidates?

Aiden
A better choice for PM.

I would go for Tan Chuan Jin more than the other guy. As a PM there is a need to have some charisma and greater support from the population which the other candidate may lack. Maybe that's why Tan Chuan Jin is placed in the same GRC as Goh but this time as anchor

Aiden
Tan Chuan Jin might be a better choice, indeed.
Frankly I think we can do better.

Yeah that's pretty upsetting to hear. Heard that because of his age he can only hold one term but I feel that can hold at least 2 terms more given how he seems pretty healthy as compared to LHL. There seems to be no other potential candidate to take of PM's position

Aiden
Tan Chuan Jin and Chan Chun Sing are possible candidates. Let that sink in.

do you think cheating is more common in the gay community?

You would need a sample size of the straight community, get the figures for the number of cheating cases, calculate the percentage relative to those who don't cheat, then do the same with the gay scene. These two percentages would get your answer.
Frankly, I think it's a little higher here. But that's probably because the result of culture, the fact that we're men (no pregnancy), and also because there really isn't a symbolic end-goal to a relationship like marriage.

Wow omg impressed by Tharman's speech have you watched it yet? It was able to counter the policies that the opposition parties proposed and explain those that were in place without putting the opposition down. This is the kind of politician we need as our prime minster, sadly I cannot vote..

Aiden
It's very typically Tharman. He's not a political fighter, per se. No drama. No fancy slogans. No chest thumping. This is the kind of boardroom presentation where you present your ideas, supplement it with facts and figures, and argue why it's a logical plan. You need more of such people at the forefront.
Sadly he has mentioned he won't take position as PM unless forced to.

A lot of us enjoy reading your lengthy captions. Have you heard of kg lorong buangkok? It's also another traditional kampung that's about to disappear

Thank you. I've been there. A few times really. Each time was for some shoot. It's a tiny, very tiny place.

Omg just the idea of it frightens me, weren't you scared?

Quite. But I had a good mentor and master. By that I mean Jimmy Low. No problem.

So wats it like to be set on fire and wat are the precautions that the crew took?

It was cold. Very cold. By the fourth time, though, the fire was starting to singe my nose. So I called it off.
I was dunked into a large tank filled with ice and water dressed only in my underwear. I was padded up with sponges, then dunked again. It was right by the road, too, in public. They finally dressed me up in my character outfit, then dunked me in again. My stunt director, Jimmy Low, rubbed a concoction all over me. It was some sort of a herbal mix. This one would protect me from the flames.
Finally, selected spots on me were painted with a mix of kerosene and horse glue. This is what would be set ablaze.
They only had ten minutes max before my body temperature came back to normal and the insulating properties of the gel wore off.

DO you tHINK the minimum wage promotes complacency

Depends what you mean by complacency, in a sense of complacency of the employer, or the employee.
I think some semblance of minimum wage would be a great idea, but only for very specific jobs, the ones that tend to be exploited, like security guards, cleaners, and freelancers.

Wait....u set yur self on fire for a shot.....?????.Anyway, glad yur company organised a trip to P.U instead of the usual overseas trip.

I did actually. Four times. This was for the local movie 'Pulau Hantu' in 2008. Was released on Okto Channel. I was 19, 20? The youngest stuntman in the region to be set on fire.
Pulau Ubin was good. Better than having a company chill session in the studio.
Waitu set yur self on fire for a shotAnyway glad yur company organised a trip to

do u think CSJ got chance to win over holland-bkt timah grc because his rally had alot of supporters and alot of people hate dr vivian. but actually the opposition would have been stronger had it not been for the malay guy not speaking malay wtf.... he really fucked it up w/ the malay community.

No.
CSJ, on his own, good. He would be a great addition for parliamentary debate. The rest of the party, not so much.
CSJ would do better as an independent.

Yeah I know right precisely my point that's why you can take over, you would be better than that candidate. How about join one of the other parties though but not reform pls 😂

Well, let's just say I've had ideas about it a good part of the year, even sending in emails for more info. But I'm debating with myself the implications of it. Sometimes, it's better to be free from any political affiliations.

Why is sodomy considered illegal in SG?

377a is a leftover law from colonial times, when we adopted almost wholesale all the laws to run the country. That's pretty much it. It's just there. We just didn't have much motivation nor need to repeal it until recently.

Do u think there is any possibilities for the opposition to win by majority seats, and take over SG as a new government ?

Not for now.

I meant the majority of PAP but Jurong seems to be stable under them and I've got no complains living here haha.

Yes, and Tin Pei Ling from MacPherson has also been very active on the ground the past four years, gaining the respect of many residents. So there is good work done. I don't think she'll lose her seat there.
