To be honest, yes, I do feel much more creative. That's one of the biggest lessons I've learned this year; you need work and play on a good balance.
I have been on a creative drain for the past couple years, and this was the solution. Giving yourself time to play in turn gives you a richer life experience. You learn more, you see more, and that can only expand your creativity.
I really wish some of my creative friends could see that, and not drive themselves to creative death by believing that constantly working is the answer to be better in their craft. The artist's mind needs to wander.

There's a difference between the two. I hold myself to a different standard that I don't necessarily hold onto other people.
