No and no.
In-Fact there is a "research facility" think-tank here in canada that is working out other non-singularity possibilities for the origin of the universe. The most popular right now is the concept that the matter in the universe expands and contracts and evolves every time.
Nerd moment: In quantum Physics, gravity actually RESPELLS in a small-universe because it warps space out not in.

I have a friend who I really care about and she's dating a paranoid controlling asshole what should I do? p.s. he thinks that she's cheating on him when it's obvious that it's the other way around

First off, she's not alone. That is pretty common.
She may have low self esteem, so the best thing to do might not be to point out what an ass he is (because she likely knows) but instead convince her she has more value than her BF tells her.
The rest is up to her though.

When I hear a theist claim how they used 2 b an atheist but have since been born again into Christianity, I think 2 myself that they couldnt of been a real atheist. Someone who has done extensive research on science and the arguments for and against religion. Is this the No True Scotsman? Thoughts?

That's a no true Scotsman.
An atheist is simply someone who fails to believe in a god. that's all.
