I think it's a direct ancestor of ours, unlike almost every other homo we've found.
it's hard to say exactly how old, but Def over 1 million and younger than 3 million years old

YES! what an amazing discovery
this find changes a little about how we think humans evolved, but it changes a LOT about how we think human behavior evolved.
the fact that there were bones that were collected in a single place suggests that they were deliberately collection and disposing their dead loved ones. amazing shit.
I can't wait to find out where this hypothesis ends up. I hope it turns out to be true.
