Do invertebrates have sentience?

It's clear that a lot of them are quite intelligent.
Types of Squids, for example, can communicate. through colours and dances.
Sentient though? It does not really seem that way.

I don't understand how you're so patient and polite when dealing with stupid videos on the Internet, is that a Canadian thing?

I get asked this a lot... I don't know.
Usually the videos I pick because I think they're so bad they're funny, but there were a couple vids where I got kind of angry.

Your taste in music is similar to my cousin's (read: shit), do you listen to Ratatat?

Oh, shit, like years ago I had a couple of their songs on my iTunes. It's been a while.

Do you like Shia LaBeouf?

I like laughing at him...
Other than Fury, every movie he has been in has suffered from his performance.
The only reason he worked in Fury was because his character was a crazy god-fearing man and everyone else carried him.

Is the way you say "out" intentional or is it just flowing naturally?

When I speak in skeptic vids I try to enunciate and speak clearly. Apparently a lot of my accent disappears when I do.
Certain words I just can't control though.

What do you do when existential loneliness covers you and you feel like a miserable person, detached from everything?

I exercise, drink lots of water and let the endorphins flood my body

Why do you struggle so much with spelling? Does whatever device you use not have a spell-check or autocorrect?

I turned it off because my fat thumbs kept spelling things so wrong that autocorrect kept completely changing the meaning of my words.

What do you think your IQ is?

I've taken 3 IQ tests growing up. I think I want to take another one some time soon.
First test said 133
Second test said 139
Third said 142
I generally go by the first one.

"Science communication generally refers to public communication presenting science-related topics to non-experts. This often involves professional scientists" This is what you believe yourself to be? In what area of science? What are you a expert in?

"This *_OFTEN_* involves professional scientists"
Not always. Bill Nye isn't a scientist. Why doesn't anyone bust his balls?
I'm one of those information sponges that loves to learn. I took biology and chemestry and physics and evolutionary science classes and I am constantly studying.
I never claimed to be an expert.
