If you could relive any memory, what would it be and why?

I'm usually a pretty nostalgic person, but you chose the wrong time to ask me about this... I think that I'll be creating some new memories very soon that will make my whole past pale in comparison.

Entirely by circumstance. we were the only species to develop the intelegent and ability to cook meat and that skyrocketed our mental abilities.

I have been a Christian most of my life. A very devout and thoroughly brain washed at that. Ever sense I came out at Atheist to my family I have been openly mocked and scorned in front of friends and family members by my own parents. What do you suggest I do?

it's hard to be openly atheistic when you still love with your parents.
just try to roll with the punches. They're really just proving why their religion is harmful.

Fear plays a big part in "faith" how did you deal with overcoming that ingrained question of "what if I'm wrong?"? There are so many questions when one leaves faith what were some of your concerns when you chose to leave?

that fear of hell was the last thing to go. I held onto it for almost a year after deconverting.
every time I would worry about it I would try to remember why I'm atheistic now, that the bible is full of contridictions and lies and that an all powerful god couldn't make those kinds of mistakes.

Newfoundland has its own dialect.

The interesting thing is, in Australia, the Liberal party are right-wing, conservative, pro-business and such. I find it interesting that one word is literally on opposite ends of the scale in two countries.

So lately I've been hearing some theists claim that the world would end 'soon'. That Nasa is telling us lies for a asteroid coming, dead fish, storms, and volcanoes etc. That the rapture is 'very' close from what they've been saying. Was interested to hear your thoughts on it.

every 3 years some idiot predicts the end of the world and uses those exact things to prove it... yet the world keeps spinning
