I thought unexplainable phenomena were not direct evidence of anything--that, unless we can repeat the scenario and study what happens, we can not form conclusions off of these.

Nevermind, that was a bad example, I checked and med technicians make less where I live. I think it varies somewhat but there are better examples involving things like social work.

again the answer is that men and women can both choose a higher paying field.

I saw Sargon's response to Steve Shives and I think one thing he neglected to consider was how female-dominated jobs make less than similar male ones; nurses and med techs require similar levels of education and are just as important to healthcare yet nurses don't make as much. Thoughts on this?

why aren't there more female med techs then?

After an ex-bf died, electronics suddenly turned on/off tho NOT connected to power. His widow experienced much more than I. NOT dreams, hallucinations, wishful thinking. He and I were staunch atheists but I now believe in an afterlife. Would unexplainable phenom cause you to re-evaluate beliefs?

every day at least one thing makes me question reality
I am not a strong atheist, I am a skeptic
there have been a long series if events in recent months that make me wonder if fate is a real thing

Am i a bad person for not feeling sadness when someone dies?

mmmm no
you may be sociopathic if someone really close to you dies and you feel nothing
but that doesn't enharently mean you're bad, per se

Do we know why things are ''alive'' ?

no... we know HOW things are alive.

it's a natural result of complex chemistry

did you hear about that new discovered specie of lizard in the news?

Yes. Did you hear about how adorbs it is?

I just got my driver's license and I drove a friend around today, and after a realization kicked in. Of course I know to be careful and cautious as always, but I truly realized I could be responsible for the death of my friend or anyone else. Any advice?
