My question about accountability could apply to positive actions as well as negative. Say someone does something heroic; ok, they may still be accountable, but somewhat less so because they didn't perform this act freely. Can they still be praised to the same extent or is free will just overrated?

meat robots that do a good things should be elevated over meat robots that do bad things
how you interpret that is up to you

I might be the odd one out but I actually like your new videos better than your old ones. There's not much else to talk about on the topic of Christianity. Do you think these new topics are more important than religion? And when will we see that MGTOW video?!

Thanks a lot
I never intended to do an entire series on creation, but I guess I kind of wanted to put those old arguments (that used to convince me of a god) to bed.
I've only just scratched the surface, but the work I am going to be doing will be THOUSANDS of times more important than the first 2 years I've spent making fun of creationists.
Our world is going to shit, and even if I can't change it I'd like my voice to be heard before it's silenced in some regressive move to censor the internet.
Plus I have a passion for this new subject matter and I think people need to learn to be skeptical of gender/identity/regressive politics

What are your thoughts on Buddhism? Do you think Buddhism's lack of self, rejection of agenthood and denial of a soul is compatible with science?

Lack of self makes no sense. We are all a part of the universe, yes, but we are still distinct individuals
We don't have agency over ourselves, no, but "ourselves" have agency over our surroundings, so that makes no sense.
Science doesn't make any claims about the existence of a soul.

Dear Armoured skeptic, Ive been a fan of yours for quite a long time. Lately, its seems that you "go with the tide" by attacking "PC culture", feminism and etc. I know these groups can and should be criticized, but dont you think this all "Im atheist and against liberals" undermine our "community"?

WHAT!?
I'm a skeptic. Armoured SKEPTIC. I did a bunch of videos putting the whole creation thing to rest, but that was never intended to be my focus. My very first video EVER was about how the regressive left tore the atheist community in two.
I'm a classical Liberal that is mildly libertarian.
I see people denying the scientific method and established knowledge to push an agenda.
I am allowed to be skeptical of whatever I want to be skeptical.

Does the recent breakthrough on Gravitational Waves confirm your world view on time?

If the reading wasn't a fluke, yes.
I haven't read the paper yet.
Though, based on all the redundancies I am willing to bet that there is a 90% chance that it was an accurate reading.

Everything in the universe is bound to the physical laws. Including our own brains... Our thoughts and internal experience mobilize our body... How is this not free will? The extra "magic" is that we will never be able to make a full simulation of the universe anyway...

Ofer
because we don't have agency over our brains
I keep saying that yet you keep ignoring that point

Okay, I'll bite, what makes somebody an "alpha" and what made you one even before you considered yourself one?

An alpha commands control and respect from his peers and mate
An alpha is in complete control of himself and his life
An alpha does not give two fucks about what others say about him because he knows more about himself and the world than the betas that try to fuck with him or control him

Even if you don't directly make choices... your conscious thoughts lead to future choices. So it's not a 100% control but you can influence future choices... I would think. Your thoughts have electric pulses which disturb the process in the brain. Maybe kind of like riding a horse? lol

yes, but that doesn't affect my position in free will at all.
everyone knows every action has a equal reaction

wait you don't like Leo Dicaprio? fucks the matter with you? he killed it in the departed, he killed it in wolf of wall street, and he killed it in every other movie (except that romeo + juliet movie, and even then i dont think you can blame it on him, the movie was awful)

no
