What do you think about pilox/hairegen? From what i understand this could lead to a wounding response but without actual wounding and bleeding do you think it works?

I think it's a scam. They tried some very weird stories on a private forum. Some guy said he found pics of hair regrowth in his barber shop and contacted the owner. So he just had study pics lying around somewhere? And they only use zinc. Zinc is rubbish it's just an anti androgen.

You said that "Almost everyone at PHG switched over to Dut". What doses do they take? 0.5mg every 5 days or something like this? Thank you

eoriueo
0.5mg daily

what brand of castor oil do you use ?:) Could you provide a link plz sir

Uhm no brand. I just bought a 10 liter bottle on ebay. Cold pressed.

you are my new GOD man lol. I have been on fin for more than 16 month now and my hairline keeps receding ( i honestly think that the increase in free testosterone from fin is destroying my hair). Do you think that the sulfa alone at 1000/day would be able to atleast stop my hairloss? Thanks :)

Patrick
Yes it would surely help. Maybe even stop your loss completely.

Thanks for your great blog man honestly you are a hero ;). Unfortunately my scalp can't handle topical mixed in alcool so is it possible to mix seti and pge2 powder in a solution without aclool?

Thank you. Pge2 can be mixed in water. Seti cannot. Maybe we will have Pulmagen's seti successor soon.

I 've been on fin for 1 year and half , just for maintaining my hairline but i'm still receding . IS it because of the testosterone increase ? is front hairline more sensitive to free testostroen than dht ? Thx

michelsapin
Androgen sensitivity is different from person to person. Some people only lose hair on dht while other still do with testosterone. Your only option is either RU or CB or Seti.

Would your approach work for women with AGA or are there any confounding gender issues? Are there any women trialling this approach that you know of? Is wounding alone ok as I can't find a source of LiCl in Australia?

Yes it's the same principle for women. Pgd2 is downstream of androgens so gender does not matter anymore. I don't know of any women trying it. Yes wounding alone is ok.

Have you seen this study? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26456343). It lists some herbal constituents that could help reduce PGD2. One of them is ricinoleic acid. I know you suggest castor oil as a cheap way to raise PGE2, but it seems it could also reduce PGD2. Thoughts?

Yes I've seen it. This is the only study that shows that it could possibly do that. I'm not entirely convinced but if it works it's not going to work a lot (on pgd2). We need a dedicated way to block pgd2 receptors.

Hey Swisstemples, thank you for sharing your insights! I plan to buy the derminator. Any experience on how long you can use it before you need to change the 9-needles-cartridge? I understand this depends on various factors: skin area/thickness,use frequency, etc. Thanks! T. PS: Just wrote you an email

I use each about 10 times. After that the needles become blunt and start to hurt a lot more.

do you still have your temples or did you lose the hair on it. I know some medications have temporary effect. Since you haven't updated us, ( which I know you're very busy), I was wondering if you can give everyone an update. You don't need to talk about Seti or anything, but just a photo or sth? tn

Lol yes I still have em.

If I have almost no hair loss, but very thin and sparingly. What recommend, within your protocol, to improve this?. I am currently Finas. Thanks!

Add some stuff from the ghetto protocol.

This is truly exciting, and I'd like to thank you for sharing and explaining so well both the process and the fantastic results that you are experiencing. Any updates on the progress pics?

Thanks. I try to make updates about every two weeks. Not always possible but I try.

Hi SWISS .I REALLY APPRECIATE VERY MUCH WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.YOU BRING HOPE MAN... I WANTED TO KNOW IS YOUR PROTOCOL IS CURING SEBORREA WHICH MADE ME LOSE 60% OF MY HAIR AND IF THERE ARE DANGEROUS SIDE EFFECT? THANK YOU

It's not intended for seborrheic dermatitis and I don't know what's the main cause of it either. So I really don't know sorry. No there are no side effects.

Hi Swiss Firstly great work, great to see someone who is trying techniques that don't involve ripping people off. Using our low self esteem to then charge ludicrous money for snake oil treatments or worse 10k on hair transplants. Swiss What protocol (products do I buy)& regime Do I follow please?

Thanks. Try to follow the ghetto protocol. Most of the stuff can be had from ebay and inhousepharmacy.

I got depression from using finaestride. It did work for several months really well. Had regrowth too i think. But i had to stop..... Two years later now Tempted to start using finaestride lotion. What do you think? Is it likely to have less chance of sides?

Topical finasteride does not work because you will still get DHT from your blood. It makes no sense. Maybe try Dutasteride many people had way less problems with it.

Hi mate, fantastic work and thanks for sharing. What sort of time-frames do you estimate from starting the protocol to growing back a decent amount of hair? Is this still subject to normal hair cycling as with Minox growth?

It depends on what you're using. With the ghetto protocol it's going to take a while as you can see in my progress. It would be much quicker if we had easy access to the "best" stuff. Yes hair will still cycle normally at least unless you use pge2. Pge2 prolong anagen.
