Hey Swiss. If I apply Castor Oil without any vehicle how long should I wait before I can take shower? Thanks

2-3 hours. Longer if you can.

Hey Swiss what do you think of using tumeric and resveratrol to balance and inhibit pgd2 levels? And what do you think of increasing pregesteron to decrease pgd2 synthesis/creation? When do you think seti will be available over the counter? Thx :)

No I do not think cox inhibitors are a good idea. Progesterone does not affect pgd2 much. Nobody knows, I guess relatively soon, a few years.

Hey Swiss! Thanks for the info! :D I wonder if you got any regrowth while using resveratrol as a pgd2 inhibitor? Do you think i could have regrowth by only using resveratrol, dermaroller, castor oil and sun burning? And is there a natural way/option to activate PROGENITOR CELLS?

Maybe but it's not optimal. All the guys I saw experimenting with cox inhibitors actually ended up worse, not better. So I try to cut them out completely from my approach. We got the means so we should use them.
No natural way for progenitor cell activation, except for wounding.

Me (just minox around 2 years, effect decreasing), since 3,5 months stoped smoking +needeling 1 mm ever 3 weeks. for 3 weeks now 1 ml castor oil each oral and topical. I swear I see translucent longer hair (everywhere i used your techniques). Its crazy, never had that. Hope it gets thicker by time :)

Trust me it will get thicker. But you will also grow more bodyhair lol.

Is there an upper limit on the amount of castor oil that can be applied topically? I've lost diffusely and so have more scalp to cover. Dunno how systemic it goes, don't wanna be shitting all day

Don't worry you won't be shitting yourself from topical application. It doesn't penetrate that well unless you add a lot of penetration enhancers to it.

Do you think this will work for female hair loss? I assume prostaglandins are still influential even if its not strictly DHT related. Thank you

Yes of course it will. PGE2/PGD2 work the same way in both genders. Women usually just have more Estrogen which inhibits PTGDS somewhat (lower pgd2).

What do you think about Green Tea, Curcumin and GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) ?

Oral green tea is pretty worthwhile due to its anti fibrotic effect. Curcumin is not that good cause it inhibits cox. GLA is just a precursor.

What carriers and ratios (dmso, iso prop alcohol, distilled water etc) do you use with LiCL and castor oil respectively? How long do you leave the LiCL in post needling? Also, have you needled or exposed your entire scalp to UVB and applied topical? Or are the temples easier to show results?

None I use licl powder directly. Leave in? There's not that much to leave in, it absorbs. No I only do the temples. Rest of my scalp is doing ok.

I read that lithium chloride is "very soluble in water". Does this mean it might be easier dissolving in water first when using topically, rather than applying just powder? If I read your other answer concerning this correctly, then you're not using it in a vehicle at the moment?

My skin is already bleeding, the licl easily binds to that wounded area so there's no need to dissolve it in a vehicle first. But that's up to you, just dissolve it in water if you want.

Could green tea extract be considered an alternative to sulfasalazine or setipiprant as pgd2 antagonist (albeit) much weaker, or does it interfere too much with wnt signalling to be considered? Also could regular wounding via dermaroller/stamp/device create scaring or fibrosis in the scalp?

No why would it be an alternative to any of those? No rolling actually breaks up fibrosis. The punctures are too small to cause scarring.

Sorry if i may have missed it, but can you please share your exact daily regimen/routine step by step to get that awesome result?

hi swiss, i'm on dut daily for around 2 years and it seems like it's not working anymore. does dut stop working with time just like fin stops working after many years?

No Dut does not stop working and neither does Fin. The 10 year and 15 year Fin studies clearly showed that. Anyway if you're losing (or think you're losing) I recommend Seti.

Hi , I would really like to have a haircut where the hairs cover my forehead but the hairs at the front does not grow ( they can't even reach my eye-brows ) , I am trying to grow ( for 4 months ) them but unlike my other hairs they wont grow , I am NW2 btw... The frontal-scalp is my sole problem

You need to prolong anagen. PGE2.

I'm just trying to find out what to buy to do this thing right, can you please list up a quick how-to? Thank you for your amazing work!!

Just did

Could you elaborate on this answer: http://ask.fm/swisstemples/answer/133655876972 ? Isn't sulfa good for hair? I'm not sure if I understand why you stopped, aside from having access to the better option of Seti.

"I had to stop using it" It being the resveratrol. Because since its effect as a cox inhibitor would destroy the pge2 boost from Sulfasalazine. I stopped Sullfa now because I ran out and because I do have seti and some other goodies.

Are you worried you will not know what actually works/doesn't work if you are adding/removing stuff from your regiment on a regular basis?

I'm not testing what substance works but using substances that work towards the protocol. None of the substances I use are unproven.

What drugs do you take? Minox, fin and dut? And when wil seti hit the market? thx

I don't know when seti will hit the market, I guess in the next few years. 3 if we're lucky, they seem to rush it. Drugs? Just dut nothing else right now.

How effective do you think natural PGD2 inhibitors would work? Example quercetin, coconutoil and green tea? And how much castor oil do you drink? And every day? And do you know of any natural ways to boost CD34 and CD200?And what is your view on dermarolling and topical lavendar oil as antiandrogn?

Natural "inhibitors" are almost all cox inhibitors so mostly useless for us. My castor dose is at 2ml daily right now. Natural ways to boost progenitor cells? Haven't seen any. Natural stuff in general is crap. The only reason castor oil is fantastic is because the ricinoleic acid acts as a direct mimetic for pge2ep3. What an amazing coincidence. Unfortunately the majority of natural stuff is not that effective. In fact most natural stuff doesn't work at all.

Instead of answering these questions finish your protocol/regime step by step please. A lot of people (including me) are waiting for it. Thanks Swiss.

It takes longer to write something for the blog than to answer a few questions here and there. It's not really taking away time from the blog posts because usually when I'm answering questions I don't have enough time to write a full post anyway. Questions take maybe a minute each to answer.

Hi Swiss, first of all thanks for all the great info, you are a true inspiration! Second, you said you used resveratrol first why exactly did you switch to Sulfa? Does it block PGD2 better? Would it be possible to get results with resveratrol(oral), castor oil, wounding and stemox? Keep well!

I switched to sulfa because resveratrol inhibits pge2 and sulfa actually boosts it.
Hm maybe? In my regime I just wanted to go all out. Why don't you try it?

does this protocol apply also to people who might have subclinical hypothyroidism? i got thin hair , as well as thinned out outer eyebrows but also the normal pattern balding

In theory yes, pge2 and pgd2 are really at the root of almost everything hair related. But it depends how the hypothyroidism affects you.

Where can you buy valproic acid?

I got some in an old groupbuy. No idea where else you can get it. There's prescription valproate pills, I guess you could dissolve these in ethanol. PHG ist having a VPA groupbuy right now.
