Hi, I am taking oral spiro & estradiol so I basically have the hormonal profile of a female (I'm trans). How does this regimen sound for me? Minox, finasteride, castor oil (topical only to avoid hypertrichosis), dermarolling, keto 1%. Is LiCl mandatory and how much do you generally use per app? Ty!

Kick the keto, it inhibits pge2. Mandatory? Not really but it gives a nice big wnt and cd34 boost. It's worth the few bucks that it costs on ebay. Sounds like an ok plan otherwise. Check the new section I just made.

Hello Swiss, sorry my english is very bad ( thanks google translate) I would like to order seti + PGD2 how? thanks for your answer

PHG is the only place to get it at unfortunately.

I know that you are very busy man, but If you could write on the blog explaing the quantities you use, how you apply.. etc it would be excellent!! That last pic of yours dude... I can't wait ;D

Just did man. If you got questions left let me know so I can change the blog accordingly.

Hi, 1.LiCl how many mg do you use?. 2.Do you dissolve LiCl in water to put post dermarroling?.3.is ok use Li succinate or gluconate or only is valid LiCl?. 4.What do you think about Sodium cromoglycate for PGD2, is ok?. 5.Do you know cicalfate(sucralfate) from avene?.6.days wait to uvb after roller?

Check the new section I just made for dosage and stuff. No I use licl directly. Yes you can use succinate or gluconate instead. Cromo is a cox inhibitor, not ok. Yes but sucralfate is too big to penetrate the skin so it's inferior to seti. Up to you, I would do it half half. Like burn on Wednesday and roll on Saturday.

Should I mix Castor Oil with DMSO or Ethanol? Please suggest me some readings so I feel confortable doing this. Ty keep up

Answered this before. If you don't know how to handle dmso then don't use it.

Seti had some advanced trials for asthma and allergic stuff. Is there a chance that it's coming to the market for this diseases. So that we have to chance for an off label use ?

Yes I'm pretty sure seti will hit the market in the next few years. For hairloss though, not for asthma. No need to get it off label in that case.

Hi again Swiss. Do you know what is the actual Stemox percentage in Kerastasse's shampoo? What amount are you actually using (say it in number of "smarties" please)? For how long do you keep it in your hair? Thank you so much (I owe you a couple of beers already)!

Manuel
I believe the shampoo has 5% stemox.
Smarties? Let me explain. I use the Kerastase shampoo whenever I wash my hair. But for stemox in general, I use that daily. Mixed with 7% vpa. It absorbs almost instantly so there's no leaving it in. Doesn't leave any grease or stains or anything afterwards.

What's your favourite Anime ??

Lol pretty random question huh? I liked Mushishi, Kino no tabi, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ergo Proxy, Texhnolyze, Serial Experiments Lain, Black Lagoon and Hellsing.

Hi Swiss, I appreciate you explained that we shouldn't be concerned about other hormones like DHT when PGD2 and PGE2 are taken care of. I lost lot hair when I took thing that raised Prolactin. There's also hairloss topical that inhibits Prolactin. Do you think protocol can keep Prolactin in check?

I don't think prolactin matters at all in the PG protocol.

Swoop is that the only pic we will get for the next 2 weeks? Not that it's not amazing, but I would love a slightly better angle to see the thickness coming on at the top of your temples. Starting to look like you might need to burn for longer to get through to the scalp!

I'm not swooping man. Yeah I already said it's hard to make pics, got to do this one handed with a DSLR you know. Yep it is actually getting harder to burn, had to increase the exposure a bit.

Can you please elaborate on using DMSO with Castor Oil for better absorption? Considering its safety issues

If you need to ask then you're better off not using dmso. Either leave the castor sit on your head for longer to make up for the lack of enhanced penetration or mix the castor with either ethanol or dmi.

how do you get VPA and stemox? I am only able to find 5% stemox from keratese, i read one of your quick regime write up that you mixed VPA with stemox? when you mentioned daily castor oil+VPA+stemox, do you mean once a day or you applied in every morning and night per day.

I got VPA from an old groupbuy. Bought stemox years ago in a drug store when it was 50% off. Yeah 5% stemox is ok. Yes Stemox makes for a good vpa vehicle. Yes once daily.

Hi Swiss. Thank you very much for sharing your experience, dedication and time. I've read many questions/answers but never saw any mention about Resveratrol as a possible natural suppressor of PGD2. Seems is quite powerful even at low concentrations. What's your opinion about it?

I did actually talk about resveratrol before. I even used it for a while but when I started sulfasalazine I stopped using it. Cox inhibitors would ruin the endogenous pge2 boost that sulfa provides.

Is oral and topical application BOTH required? How do you make a topical, with ethanol? If we are able to grow back all the hair, does it mean that we only need PGD2 to sustain and perhaps some PGE to make up for any PGE under expression?

It's up to you to decide that. I wanted maximum effect so I used both. Simply add some ethanol to make it less gunky. Yes for maintenance we can either use AA's or PGD2 receptor blockers.

Dermaneedling and UVB.Is UVB necessary to simulate growth? Dermaneedling with LiCl is not enough?

Depends on what you call necessary. It increases endogenous pge2. If you think you can get enough pge2 in some other way then no.

Do you think leaving castor oil on my hair overnight will result in any adverse effects? Should I just leave it on for 1-2 hours then wash my hair? thanks

I don't think so

is minoprost appropriate for cloprostenole? can i apply minoprost topically? if it is ok, how can i use? what should be the vehicle?

Isn't minoprost pge2? My cloprostenol came in an ok oil vehicle and cloprostenol itself easily penetrates the skin.

i have not been able to find castor oil yet. Do you think it can replace minox? I am responding quite well to minox with azelaic acid, somehow without azelaic acid i do not have as good a result.

Did you check ebay? There's a ton of people selling it on there.
No I would not replace minox with it if it's helping you, use both. Azelaic acid increases penetration. Most likely a bit of the minox goes systemic which does give you better results. I don't remember Azelaic having any other effects combined with minox.

does Cloprostenol also increases pge2

Nah Cloprostenol is just a PGF2a super agonist. Check my "theories" section. The Prostaglandins that I colored green are beneficial to hair growth.

(cont.) So if it works the same for PGD2, this could fit into your theory perfectly. Androgen exposure long term (or a inbalance between androgen and E2) creates a positive feedback loop with PGD2 (and synthase) which eventually prevents hair growth altogether (like your theory). Fingers crossed!!

Exactly. We need to break the cycle for any hope to get better. Hence PGE2 + blocking PGD2 as the core of the protocol. Fingers? I'll use my toes too man.

I've been reading a good amount of PGE2, and the studies I'm seeing (albeit they are not in hair) show that there is a positive feedback loop with even exogenous PGE2 and PGE synthase... meaning that they more PGE2, the more the target tissue expresses PGE2 on its own. (cont.)

(will answer in your continuation)

Oh I do think I did mention it actually. Yes I even used it for a while. Resveratrol decreases PGD2 by inhibiting COX, so, well, you know by now what I think about COX inhibitors. Especially once I got on Sulfasalazine which boosts endogenous PGE2 it's not a good idea to use COX inhibitors at all.
