Hi swisstemples, thank so much for your great work. Trying to following your protocol. One question for stability: I am using a mix of castor oil with Minox. Any stability issue when I would add Stemoxydine to the mix? Thx and probs - keep growing. Cheers

If we're talking the original L'oreal stemox I don't see a problem. I've used that one myself and it's almost pure alcohol with a bit of distilled water. Shouldn't cause any problems.

Have you noticed hair growth or thickening on areas other than your temples? hairline, top..

I did actually notice some straggling hairs on my hairline where I never applied topicals. Must be from the oral castor + sulfa. Also ever since adding in some oral seti 1.5 weeks ago I'm noticing a small bald spot on top of my head filling in. (Had it from Trichotillomania as a kid and it never really grew back)

you keep taking Castor oil? since you've got PGE2 already it wouldn't be necessary anymore.

I don't have pge2 yet unfortunately. Yeah I'll get rid of the castor oil when I get it.

what about fgf9? wouldn't supposed to be better than LC after needling or dermabrasion? what do you think?

FGF9 is already expressed through wounding and WNT. So if you use needling + LiCL you're also taking care of -and- boosting it. This is what I mean with people getting lost in the smaller things and not seeing the bigger picture. A lot of the small things are actually influenced through cascades of other mechanisms. That's also why I keep saying wounding is a crucial part and should not be set aside lightly.

what is the cheapest PGE-2? And how should we use it? Topical or oral?

There is no alternative to full pge2. Best we can do is pge2ep3 through ricinoleic acid.

What do you think about OC000459 , by the way it feels good to read all these Q&A and blog , thanks again , looking forward to see your results and blog articles.

OC can be used the same way as Seti, oral or topical. The problem is that OC is more expensive. That's why we ended up with Seti (and seti has more human safety trials than OC too). If you got some in your freezer go ahead and use it.

Have you ordered the pge2 exo yet ?

I haven't ordered it myself no but a friend of mine has and he's going to gift me some of his. There are still some good people on this planet. :)

Hello Swiss. Thanks for your hard work, it helps a lot. Do you think Minox 5% 2 times/day & Derminator once/week could be enough to cure a diffuse thinning ? Maybe I could add sulfa ?

Cure? Dunno. Help? Definitely.
Up to you whether you want to add sulfa or not. Maybe you want to try it without at first. Then again sulfa is cheap and easy to get. Again, up to you.

Swiss , if I take my minoxidil and miconazole in the morning for the pge1 increase should I just take all of my sulphasalazine at night or is the half life too short? Not sure what to do. Thanks.

Sulfa has a 10 hour half life. If you're using 1g I would take one 500mg pill in the morning and one in the evening. That gets you almost 24 hour exposure.

You said: "For optimal results you need to block pgd2 (setipiprant) and increase pge2 (best with real pge2)." So, what is the cheapest way to do this? Could you suggest drugs (we can find at pharmacies) to produce " the mix" to provide best results?

It's not that easy dude. Read the previous answers. Me and a very kind and helpful other users are trying to figure out cheap and easy to get alternatives to take care of these points. But it's pretty damn hard. Easiest thing to address PGE2 at least partially is ricinoleic acid which you can get in castor oil.

Hey, Castor oil is too thick, when I try to apply it almost all of it sticks in the hairs and doesn't reach the skin. Does it even get absorbed in the skin?

That's why I recommend adding 30% dmso for better (and quicker) penetration.

My loss is diffuse. Thinking of shaving my head so hair don't get In the way. Would it be ok to dermaroll + apply licl to a different area of the scalp every day or 2. All in one sitting ain't practical. Also is that much licl application (coverage of whole scalp) even safe? Thanks man

Hm so checkerboard style dermarolling at different intervals? That is... interesting. I don't see a problem with it in theory but I'd rather have you stick to once a week intervals as I suggested. Exactly because of safety. LiCL used to be used as a substitute to table salt back in the 1940's but consumption at that level were not safe. Considering the standard american person has a daily salt intake of 3.5g that is quite a lot. So I don't see any problem at all with your checkerboard method. Just be reasonable and only use a slight dusting of a few miligrams on the area as I suggested before. You want to barely cover it, not drown your entire scalp in several grams worth. But yeah I think you get my point. It's really all about dosage and exposure.

Dude you are the hope of many of us! I already did a HT, wasn't very satisfied with the density and I was thinking on doing another one, but now I will give a shot at your methods! Ty for all your dedication and pacience. Keep up man!

No problem dude we're all in this together. Thanks man.

Do you think the laser helmet Igrow 2 works? It's aprooved by the FDA as a treatment for AAG

luisfilipe89
Absolutely not, laser helmets do not work. They are expensive and useless disco balls. The biggest proponents of this shit are scammers themselves. For example user "stevo" on hairlosshelp. He has been shilling for it for over 4 years now. Theradome I believe it's called. 1200$ piece of shit that does nothing. He even admitted to be "good friends" with the inventor and to visit him regularly. I have no doubts that asshole is getting a cut of the profits for his forum propaganda. Meanwhile nobody has grown a single hair on it.

Does smoking cause hair loss at a Prostaglandin level, I mean?

luisfilipe89
I haven't seen anything about smoking affecting Prostaglandins. Wait are you trying to quit smoking? In that case: Yes smoking increases pgd2 levels by 999999%

I'd like to join a group buy, are they still going on?

I think two just closed but it looks like we have to make another one since there are still many people who want it.

I still don't get it why Sucralfate is a bad substitute for Seti. Can you please elaborate? thanks

luisfilipe89
Because it has a molecular weight of 2086 dalton. That will never ever penetrate the skin. The patents about hairloss use micronized Sucralfate but that is extremely hard to get your hands on. Which means we are once again at the same problem as we have with seti, where do we get this exotic stuff from?

This Ask.fm is full of information. Can it be organized? I get lost sometimes ;D ty keep up

luisfilipe89
Maybe we can make a wiki in the future that would probably be a good idea. For now I just try my best to implement the questions and answers in the blog itself.

I was wondering, companies pay top dollar for patents and to keep the formulas secret. So how does a lab in China knows enough to produce setipiprant?

That is actually quite easy and there are two reasons. One is that chemical patents include the chemical formula and often the synthesis as well. So while you're not "allowed" to copy it there's nothing to actually stop you from doing it. It's even easier than pirating movies from the internet. The second reason is because every single company on this planet actually produces in China. Even Bayer, Pfizer, all the big boys on the block produce their stuff in China. This means you can most likely contact the original contractee of one of these big companies to "have the gears grind an hour longer after closing time" or with a few connections at least get your hands on the blueprints of how these plants do their synthesis. I should probably shut the fuck up now cause I'm probably already on a few hit lists by now lol.

swiss how do we go about purchasing seti from the sources you have acquired it from. I am extremely interested and willing to try this approach as I believe the science and theory you have researched and slapped together are sound. I am also no longer trust well known third party sources i.e. Kane

You do well not to trust Kane. He's an extremely shady guy and has fucked people over in the past and will no doubt do it again. Unfortunately the groupbuys are organized by people like you and me, they're not really set out to supply 50+ people. We can try it of course but yeah, it's hard to do all the logistics. You can send me an email at swisstemples@gmail.com and I can invite you into the forum and you can participate in the groupbuys if you want.
I think our biggest priority right now should be to find alternatives to the rare and hard to get stuff so we don't have to jump through hoops or trust slimey chinese gray market middle men. Castor oil is the best example for that, cheap and easy to get but has a massive impact.

if one buy pgf2a lipid solution from drs-labs and what to apply it topically, what kind of vehicle would you suggest?

Do they ship it as a powder? I use Estrumate myself which is delivered as an oil solution. Cloprostenol itself is 425 dalton so it would still theoretically penetrate even without harsh penetration enhancement (see 500 dalton rule). I would suggest to dissolve it in pure ethanol. I added a bit of ethanol to my Estrumate to give it just a tad more absorption. Dissolves easily in the oil as well.

Hey man. Appreciate all the work. Anyway, in your opinion would topical castor oil + dermarolling produce any results on their own, even partially? Thanks

Alex Malone
Yeah but don't put castor oil on your fresh wounded area. Let it heal or at least scab first.
