can you just add all these ingredients together and make a topical? e.g. cloropostenol, castor oil etc mixed together

Making vehicles is a science of its own. Every single compound is most stable in a certain carrier. Mixing carriers can result in quite a headache concerning overall stability and penetration. Possible? Probably. Easy to do? Nope. I currently use a vehicle consisting of Setipiprant, Cloprostenol, VPA and Stemox all combined. And even that took me a while to crack and get into a stable solution. If you want to put ALL the stuff of the protocol into one cream/gel/lotion I don't think we can do it without someone with years worth of experience in that field.

Have you heard about antimir? There was an AMA on reddit with scientists in the hairloss field. And they seemed to think they could work?

I have not actually. Can you provide me the links?

I've just received Castor Oil (cold pressed) as suggested, I have a couple questions: a) it says that it's only for external use, not internal consumption, should I ignore that? b) is it really useless to apply it topically without DMSO?

They have to state that because of the FDA. No it's not useless to apply it without dmso but it will absorb a lot less. If you plan to let it sit on your head the whole day you can use it without dmso no doubt. If you only got time for maybe 30 minutes to an hour and plan to wipe it off afterwards you definitely want dmso in it.

I don't want take seti, but that doesn't seems to be a big problem since you got regrow without it. So I take fin, castor oil topically and orally (1ml), and I'm thinking on getting pge2. What do you recommend to increase pge2? Can I buy pge2 without being on a GB? ty

Real PGE2 is hard to get without a groupbuy. I really wouldn't know where to turn to. If you read the older questions there were some guys who wanted to get Dinoprostone gel. The problem is that even from the cheapest sources it's quite expensive and you only get 3ml tubes at 6$ a tube (cheapest generic). And even that is very low dosed. I don't see that working out for us.
Some guys are also looking into alternatives to stimulate PGE2, also talked about that in a few questions earlier. Give the archive a good read. We can also introduce PGF2a analogues in place of PGE2. It's obviously not the same but it's very beneficial and worth using if you can get some. Cloprostenol is the strongest super agonist of PGF2a and can be bought as veterinary medicine at a cheap price and high dosage. If you are skilled or have some connections to a vet you should be able to find some cloprostenol to use at a reasonable price. Check the archives for that too. Good luck!

Can someone without seti be able to regrow and mantain anyway? what are the alternatives?

luisfilipe89
Are you asking if someone can maintain regrown hair without seti?
Well you would still need a way to prevent pgd2 damage in some way. Either keep using seti or use an oral or topical anti androgen.

How much sulfasalazine did you take and did you experience any side effects?

I started with 1g and went up to 2g. No sides.

update please

Yeah I would like to but I got over 90 unanswered emails in my inbox right now, I get blasted with questions on the PHG forum and just look how many questions I still got to answer on here:

That's why things are going slow my friend.

How did you apply the castor oil topically and how long did you leave it in? Do you think it was the oral dosage or the topical that had the most effect?

I put little drops on my finger and massage it into the area. If you do it this way and just keep adding drops until the area is covered the oil will absorb completely and you won't have to wash it out. If you use too much you definitely need to wash your hair.
I think oral is more extreme but it does cause annoying hypertrichosis...

How much castor oil did you take orally? Did you experience of it's laxative side effects?

I usually take 1ml. 2ml is fine as well for me personally but 1ml seems to be the dose safe for everyone to not shit themselves lol.

I'm not very into the technical side of this whole matter but I really admire your brainpower and dedication. Based mostly on your intuition, do you think there'll be a commercial solution on the short term? You visulize it more as a product of the research ongoing or serendipity? Thank you.

I highly doubt we'll get a working solution any time soon. The future will get us some minox alternatives (samumed's research) and some alternatives to fin (cosmo & kythera). The only real jesus of hairloss would be roland lauster who has actually grown ENTIRE HAIR FOLLICLES in 3d spheroids at the Uni Berlin. He was trying to get funding to bring it to the market but looks like nobody cared enough about the cure. His work is now used to test the effect of shampoos and other cosmetics on human skin/hair in place of animals. A worthy cause for sure but yeah I would rather have it made available for us than to save a few rabbits...

What if we use topical siRNA cream to lower levels of PGD2 synthase and GPR44 simultaneously. I'll be able to design specific siRNA's, and we can start testing it right away.

So you want to approach it through gene therapy. I'm not sure about the safety of that. It's certainly interesting but impossible for most people to get their hands on. Sounds like it's something you work on in your day job? No doubt that would be the ultimate future treatment if we could get it safe and stable but I never considered it as something in my reach so I stick to "plain" biochemical approaches. Maybe you have some more info for me? From what I've read even the available gene therapy solutions for humans (and there aren't many) are quite risky.

Swiss, can PGE2 be taken Orally? Diffused, so topical would be a mess. My reg I will start. 15 MG seti Daily Oral, PGE2 (IDK how much orally), Once a week derma with LC? Will this work? Seit at night, PGE2 in the morning? Will this work?

No you cannot take pge2 orally it would get destroyed by stomach acid.

Thanks for your efforts, swiss. Have to wait for a more defined/available routine before I follow your way (young, no income). Meanwhile, would Alpecin+Nizoral+Minox+Topical and oral castor oil (COX inhibiton + PGE "simulation") be enough? Fin gave me very bad sides in a few days (still recovering).

No prob man. Currently drowning a bit in questions and emails but I try to keep up as best I can.
Yeah that sounds like a good cheap approach. You know my opinion about cox inhibition but let's see how far the pge2e3 activation from castor will get you. It certainly has a strong effect.

Not on topic, but if you shed from Nizoral is that necessarily a good thing? Also maybe a dumb question but does your shampoo that you use help to regrow hair due to the Stemox?

I would say it's a good sign similar to AA shed from Fin. No I doubt the shampoo will regrow you anything on its own. But stemox causes hypoxia which expresses cd34 and vegf. Both something we want.

im currently taking 100mg of seti, oral, every morning until i can get the rest of the stuff for your pg protocol. i notice you're only taking 10mg oral, every day (albeit with a lot of other stuff), is 100mg overkill?

We don't know the oral dosage of Seti yet. Safety studies used up to a gram. Personally I would think the dosage is more likely to be higher than 10mg. Those 10mg are only for good measure in case it turns out to be a low dose. I mostly use my seti topically anyway. But since I fill my own pills each week it's easy to just dump a bit of seti in the mix too. Why not.

http://www.nature.com/jid/journal/v35/n2/full/jid196085a.html Before someone mentions selenium disulphide's ability to cause diffuse hair loss. It's only with the 2.5% formulation, as we all know, selenium follows a hormesis dose response curve (too much is bad, too little is bad), correct?

I actually can't help you out here since I haven't really looked into selenium much myself. I'll be using straight PGE2 so I put all my research into that area. Good find though keep it coming.

Hello Swiss, I am considering buying sulfasalazine tablets per your reccomendation. I have read about some strange side effects in terms of the immune system and white blood cell counts. Just wanted your opinion as you are more educated in the matter. Is it safe to take sulfasalazine daily?

I'm not a doctor I can't tell you what's save and what's not. Some people are allergic to peanuts. Are peanuts safe? You need to do your own research on the stuff you consider using. Personally I have had no side effects from sulfa, not at 1g and neither at 2g daily. It made my piss a bit more yellow that's all.

Are growth factors/progenitor cells only needed if your temples have been bald for years? Say if you only lost them recently (1-2 years) could you regrow them without the need of growth factors or progenitor cells?

Yes that's very likely

Swiss, Did you start PGE2 and Seti only recently? I mean, your amazing result was acquired before you start using them, right?

I am not using PGE2 yet. I started seti about 1.5 weeks ago. Yeah all results up to now were acquired with the ghetto makeshift protocol.

Hi, will chlorine dioxide help or harm our treatment? Can we try topical chlorine dioxide to WNT activation? So, after dermarolling, can we substitute lithium chloride for chlorine dioxide? Thanks!

Harm. The true effects and side effects of chlorine dioxide are not known. What we do know is that it's highly damaging to the scalp. I would not use it. Where the hell did you read that chlorine dioxide does anything for WNT? I think you mixed up some things in your head.

You mentioned 1x/wk for 5 min on each temple for UV sunburn and that's awesome. Over time, UV lamps will still turn on and light, even though the UV strength is too low for any benefit. For consistent sunburn, there are UV sensors that can detect UV output strength. Hope that helps.

I see. Thanks for the info but I just do it until I get a sunburn. If the lamp degrades I'll just do a bit more.
