Sorry if this is a noob question but will dutasteride affect my gains at all? Should I jump straight on dutasteride instead of trying finasteride first? Are there any additional risks with dutasteride?

The majority of guys on PHG have less to no sides on Dut while they did actually have some on Fin. But it's up to you to decide which one you want to use. Yeah inhibiting DHT is always a good idea if you can take it. Less DHT means less PGD2.

Can I use clotrimazole instead of Miconazole? Will they achieve the same thing

It doesn't seem to have the same effect. Stick to mico.

Btw, regarding that minox/castor oil mix question...I haven't added DMSO or any other kind of extra vehicle.

Yeah I would not suggest adding dmso to minox

In your opinion, is it alright to mix castor oil with minox for nighttime leave-on application? I've been mixing minox and castor oil 75%/25% respectively in the same bottle, shaking to mix, and applying. Can't find anything online about whether or not mixing would help/hurt absorption.

Yes you can and it will help absorption.

You said that 2016 will be the death of MPB, can you elaborate please? ty keep up

Big companies are pumping money into hairloss and the fruits of that have been shown this year. So while most people will have to wait for those products to hit the market, savy guys can probably clone the treatments.

What do you think of this year Hair Congress in Miami?

I haven't read everything yet but looks like a breakthrough. Several different companies with amazing results. Looks like we're not too far off from a commercial solution as well.

Where to get VPA without prescription? :)

You could get VPA pills, rush them, dissolve in ethanol and wait for the filler to settle at the bottom of your glass. Then use a syringe to siphon off the vpa ethanol.

According to your chart, omega-6 and arachadonic acid are what lead to pgd2 production. Some people are suggesting that not consuming dietary sources of these two items (red meat/ chicken/ eggs/ some fish) would stop further hair loss. This the case in your opinion?

No. AA can be converted through different fat conversions not only from omega 6 (but mostly for sure). In the end a deficiency of omega 6 would also lower beneficial AA prostaglandins like PGE2, PGF2a etc. Similar to cox inhibition. It makes no sense and probably can't even be achieved through diet anway.

I understand that the regrowth is not due to duta but would you have been able to achieve the regrowth with the ghetto protocol if you were not on duta keeping the androgens at bay?

With sulfa yeah I believe so. Not sure if it would've worked without sulfa or now seti.

I know its not ideal for regrowth, (though i am hoping I get some) but would 1ml castor oil a day oral, a little bit topically, along with 1000 mg sulphazeline a day, dermarolling with lithium chloride once a week be just as good at maintaining as fin or duta? Or is this method strictly for regrowth

It's for regrowth but some friends of mine reported that they stopped their hairloss with sulfa and castor.

what shampoo would you recommend thats cheaper than the one containing stemox since its a bit too expensive for me at the moment. Preferably one with no cox inhibitor in them.

just buy any "baby shampoo" those are usually mild without much stuff in em

Hey Swiss. Can you link Lithium Chloride supplier? I'm afraid that I will rub some poison on my scalp :\ And as diffuse thinner how much should I apply? Is 30 mg enough for nw6 area? Thanks

Check out the ones people posted.
Diffusers don't *really* need licl in my opinion. It's most needed to grow hair on bare scalp.

Hey, What would you suggest someone to take/do to prevent hairloss from occurring? Also what you also suggest for faster and thicker hair growth? Castor Oil orally? Anything else?

Take Dut to prevent hairloss. Follow the ghetto protocol for growth.

Firstly, congrats on your success up to this point and thank you for sparing the time to share. I know you're not yet finished on your journey, but what I want to know is how you're feeling about all this. Are you a little amazed to be heading towards a happy ending after years of mpb worry?

Thanks. Actually it's less climatic than I expected. I just get more hair and worry less and less. Instead of a huge celebration it just slowly because normal to have normal hair. It's weird. I worry more about hair being untamable lately instead of there being none and my scalp showing.

I stoped al shedding and inflammation 20 yrs ago with n acetyl cysteine high dose. But I have never recovered my hairline or my thin spot in the back. So I am starting castor oil plus limonene on hairline and bald spot. What do you think the efficacy of castor oil versus true pge2 is?

That's really cool I hope you're telling people about your success.
Castor or better said ricinoleic acid is one of four pge2 receptor agonists. So at best it is one fourth as strong.

Swiss, I am seeing a lot of literature on men exhibiting low testosterone after long treatment periods with sulfasalazine. Are you at all concerned about this or is sulfa a temporary measure for you?

Sulfa is temporary, in fact I stopped using it since I added seti. Yes high doses for prolonged time can lower testosterone. It comes straight back once you stop though.

Hello. Congratulations for your hard work and success. :) Two questions: I have seen that semen has a high concentration of PGE ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6420207), could it fit (theoretically) in your regime? Could you put in order of priority the components of your regime?

Thank you. Theoretically yes, practically no.

1. do we mix all the topical ingredients together and apply like minox? 2. Curious on how to buy seti. cant wait for your PG protocol which is "work in progress" :)

erikolars
Seti needs its own vehicle. Licl doesn't need a vehicle.

Hi Swiss, will taking oral jak inhibitors and running your protocol work.? I know they are pricey and have some really bad side affects, but if you put all that stuff aside what do you think?

Yes in fact jak inhibitors are beneficial.
