Malroy may have a HDW, but Bordain has a HDM.

I stared at that for too long.
Hot Dornish Maester.
Fucking. Hysterical. Maester Arban the sexiest man in the Vale.

I get the feeling Brynden is going to be a bit of a cold authority figure for the redspawns. Less "Uncle Brynden" and more "Lord Malroy". Only reason they are allowed to stay in Steadhold is because of their mother. Almost Tywin-esque

I haven't really decided yet. I feel like that's one of the things that I really should leave up for you guys and starting at a very middling place once we time jump to an age where it would matter. Very likely that the twins will grow up alongside Lorelei and will likely become friends, I feel like Brynden's regard for them will be a bit colored by his daughter's opinions. Between Isis, Obella, Victus, Dontos and the other children's opinions it's going to be an interesting mix of opinions and perspectives for older Brynden. Maybe by then his need for vengeance will have sated a bit and less directed towards the twins. But really who knows. I am trying to keep my hands off in that one and build that relationship.

A bit sad for Obella. Only married to Brynden for a few months and he already loves another girl more than her. What a cruel twist of fate

Haha I couldn't see Brynden not splitting his love for Lorelei and Obella equally. But yeah as of right now, the new baby girl is going to get a lot of love and attention from dad.

for someone who has been abused, raped, beaten & physically and mentally abused for going on a year and a half now Isis seems quite undamaged by most of it

Not entirely, Isis is really good at hiding things, she knows Brynden would lose his fucking mind if he knew the half of what she was going through. And that results in vengeful Brynden taking over and going off the deep end, which is massively dangerous. For the first year where she had absolutely no idea Brynden or Dontos was alive she was a lot more of a mess and that's a time period you guys missed for the most part. That being said she's a tough person, she had three brothers growing up she knows how to deal with Royce.
Once everything is said and done, Isis will likely dump everything on Brynden and probably have a breakdown. She's still in a hell and lot of her time is spent worrying for the own safety and now the twins.

How long do you think it will take for Obdella to leave for spy things once she has our child? Is there a chance maternal instincts might cloud her judgement and force her to stay home?

I'm planning on somewhere between a year and a half or two years. She'll be gone for three to six months and then after that be open to having another child. There's going to be a period of time where Obella goes on a longer bit of spying across the Narrow Sea. Something canon related.

Is Brynden the best archer in Westeros?

In Westeros? Nah, not really yet. Probably top 10 somewhere in there.
In all the Known World? Definitely not, he's probably somewhere in the top 50 for that. Them damn dothraki and summer islanders.
He'd probably get to top 3 in Westeros if you guys dump all your EXP into Marksmanship and the "Triple Shot" quality down the line.

How religious is Obella?

About as religious as Brynden. In that she'll attend mass maybe once a month and prays to the Seven somewhat regularly. She doesn't invoke them in her cursing like Brynden does, at least not much. She'll likely get a bit more as time goes on and she finds the Sept more to her liking.

Victus turned out suprisingly well considering he only had a father, twenty uncles no idea female role model and was constantly on the move, living in some of the shadier parts of the world.

When I had made the character I was split between either having him come out alright or have him come out... Not so alright. I went with the former and when I genned his character sheet he got the "naive" trait tacked on. For the most part, yeah he turned out pretty good, he's a charismatic little guy who doesn't let much get him down. But in terms of the greater world and people's ulterior motives he's not as quick on the uptake as his father is. And then there is the whole Westeros vs Essos thing. He'll learn, but as he gets older some things are likely to change his outlook on life.

How long a ride is it from Chelsted-hall to Steadhold?

I too don't really have a name for House Chelsted's hold. I should make something up at some point.
Anyway, about 2 days. Steadhold is 3 days from King's Landing, I think I decided.

How much experience does Brynden have raising children from having to look after Victus in Essos, and will he have to explain all this stuff to Obella?

I hadn't thought to mention it yet but yeah of the two Brynden is going to be the way better parent. Granted he had a sort of rough period there after Lysa's death but as Victus got older Brynden 'serioused up' and really took it upon himself to be the best parent he could. Obella hasn't spent a lot of time around children outside of the Water Gardens. She's wanted them for awhile, mind, but didn't have as much time learning the ins and outs of motherhood between her spying and being away from home and her own mother. She'll be a bit more easily frazzled by a son, but a daughter she can manage somewhat.
Between that and the majority of the Sons having adopted Victus and will likely do the same with his other children and then Obella's dornish court they are going to have a very odd upbringing.

you mentioned a while ago that Giselle was a bit like littlefinger, I'm wondering in what regard you meant

It took me a bit to figure out what you were talking about, then I remembered the confusion the last time I spoke about her. You misunderstood. What I meant was had the decision gone to marry Giselle there would have been a lot more Jon Arryn and Petyr Baelish interactions.

would it be possible to for brynden to basically just go full dorne during the WOTFK? and go ''war what war?''

Not really. The Malroys are sworn directly to the Crown, at the very least you'll need to send enough men when called upon to pay lip service to them while supporting no one else. That's the bare minimum you'll have to do and essentially will be considered getting as close to going "full Dorne" as possible. You won't benefit at all from making that sort of decision mind you and it will draw ire and unwanted attention.

Have you ever seen the Preston Jacobs youtube channel? Dude has some of the craziest theories about GoT

I never have actually, I'll give it a look, thank you.

Lets say Brynden were to die and the heir was a girl. Would Dontos swallow his pride and try getting Victus legitimized ?

That's an odd situation and I hadn't thought about it honestly. Obella would probably fight Dontos on that whole thing and go full Dorne. Dontos might try to legitimize Victus but might be convinced to trust in Obella. I honestly couldn't say what would happen, it'd be a mess for sure.

How many hearty chuckles do think Brynden will have during the war of the 5 kings? Many I'd imagine

He's going to lose his shit whenever the Lannisters start getting their shit wrecked in the Riverlands. A lot of the WotFKs is just going to be a joy for the Malroys, depending upon where they stand.

>Obella and your heir to be, equally so, they'd come under fire from the locals given their dornish roots.// "New lord fixed a lot of stuff and then when that Dornish witch comes and he suddenly dies?!" They may actually blame it on her ?

Rumors are quick and dirty things, not everyone celebrates a match between a Valyrian Lord and a Dornish Lady, not so soon after what happened in King's Landing. Your smallfolk are simple things, and they would take to the first rumor that passed lip, which might include Obella. Don't forget, the Dornish are a culture all on their own, and many denizens of Westeros only know them from hearsay, singular encounters, and rumors. Who knows what they'd come up with in their grief for their Lord.

would we play Victus as he is now if Brynden happened to die right now?

Unlikely, Victus right now simply isn't interesting or able enough to continue the plot. I would likely do some time jump threads with Victus growing into his own during the various events over the years before getting into 16/17 year old Victus just being knighted and deciding what to do with himself.

What % of Royce's lands was the Princewood? How big is it compared to what we have currently? What's the split of it between us and Chelsted?

I generally abide by the rules set down by the SIFRP-GoT edition rulebook, as found on page 107:
" Each Land investment is called a domain. Each domain is roughly a league (3 miles)."
Typically I understand that as a vague area of roughly 3 square miles or 640 acres per Domain. It's one of those give or take a few and the area is never directly mapped out except for some highly detailed map kept by the Citadel type of thing. You, as a Lord, just understand your general area that you need to protect. I imagine that there is a lot of no man's land out there in between the proper Domains of the Lords of the realm, but that's just a personal thing.
The Princewood however, spans 5 different Domains. Royce's domain, and last domain, is the northernmost, known as Redgrove, lots of redwood trees there but lightly forested. The Redwatch Tower and Bolthole Hall are right on the border of the Princewood and Regrove, with the Goldroad being the divider. The Domain that you're fighting for right now is the deepest part of the Princewood, which explains the forgotten hall. There is the Domain that Branton is in, where the forest is light. Another heavy forest that belongs to House Chelsted and bumps up against yours. And then the last being a section of light forest that House Mallery controls. So before they were taken away from him, Royce's lands consisted of 100% Princewood, though only 60% of the overall whole. Now, he only controls 20%, as he only controls one domain.
All things considered, I typically assume that the direct Domain of a House has a bit more size to it, the one that houses their holdfast/main hub and is the heart of their lands. So your current Domain is likely the largest, with the Princewood Domain being the second (though by a small margin) and Hemgrove being the smallest. In all, once the Princewood invasion is over you'll control ~10 leagues (~10 square miles, ~6400 acres) with 20% of the Princewood being yours. A small note, your section of the Princewood is the largest of the five, being entirely covered in woods outside of the Goldroad's cut through it.
On the other side, House Chelsted will hold 40%, between Branton and their other Domain. Once all is said and done of course and assuming you decide to not be a dick ass and make a bid for Branton's Domain after your section of the Princewood is under control.

Now that it seems like HOuse Gauthier will run on Sundays will you try to make alterations to your schedule so there will be no/little overlaps ?

Slight alterations more than likely, I do plan to follow Maester's quest after all given I am a fan of the concept of the House itself. I've actually been looking into in general making some schedule changes, but that's mostly on my end. But yeah, I believe Maester will be running this weekend, so I plan to leave my weekend open to see what he does and then adjust accordingly, out of respect and excitement for another GoT quest.

What do you think would happen if Brynden were to die right now ? How would his family react and what would be the fallout ?

Follow on a similar question.
Dontos would fall to pieces, redouble his faith, he'd blame himself for it mostly.
Victus would be devastated, he has the Sons obviously, but for the most part that would leave him alone in a world that is cruel towards his kind. He'd probably follow after Dontos in many things.
Obella and your heir to be, equally so, they'd come under fire from the locals given their dornish roots.
In short it would create a serious power struggle in the region Brynden having left an Heir behind and Dontos being alive and well would stop Royce from making a bid towards Steadhold, but it wouldn't stop him from making power moves and from the Crown taking the oppurtunity to install their own man in the Princewood/Branton

What would happen if Brynden were to die in this conflict? Would we timeskip and play as a more grown up Victus or timeskip even further and play asthe child ?

Well a couple things, none of them particularly good. I don't want to go into the details of any of it, because really, you never know. But it would result in a very interesting power vacuum in the area, Royce would make some serious moves and a lot of people would regain their faith in him. Dontos would all but forsake his marriage to return to Steadhold and protect Obella and your heir. The Princewood and Branton would likely go to someone under the King's thumb. It would be a royal mess.
I would however leave it up to you guys who we played however. A grown up Victus, or a grown up Heir.

any quests you follow/reccomend

I'm going to be perfectly honest. I don't follow or read any other quests. I'm really not into the majority of topics on /tg/ the strong anime presence is a real turn off for me because I don't watch nor particularly enjoy any anime so when Quests start to delve into that territory I'm out. Which is the majority of quests I find. I'm not saying I'm superior than any other QM, they all work as hard if not harder than me, but nothing really catches me. Beyond that, I work, a lot, and run two more games in RL that eat a lot of my time.
That said, I literally can't recommend Karban and Harrock enough from the archives.

How long has it been now since Brynden arrived back in Westeros?

A year and four months now. That's not particularly difficult information to find either.
My timeline is a bit different from the canon one regarding the end of Roberts Rebellion, with the Siege of Dragonstone occurring on late 283AC rather than somewhere in early 284AC.

The child will be born by the time we return, wont it ?

Nah, plan to have the child born later in the month after Brynden gets home. MAN I CAN'T WAIT.

When do you think Obella and Brynden will have their first real arguement ?

Can't say really, Obella has her opinions about things and will always make them heard, there's a point where Brynden disregarding her opinions would reach a boiling point and she'd go on a 'mission' for a little while.
