I was wondering whatever happened to Cecillia's father ?

He died during Robert's Rebellion, he was a Gold Cloak and was killed during the Sack of King's Landing. He wasn't anyone particularly special, rank-and-file soldier, a bit better with his sword than your typical gold cloak, all the good that did him in the end. He had carved out a simple life and was blessed with a talented wife who serviced Lords and Knights.

How much does Obella know about Lysa ? Has she been asking around with the Sons about her ?

Not a thing. She's never bothered to ask out of respect for her husband. The most she knows is what Illiad has told her, which is very limited information. Victus' mother had been a woman of the Free Cities, they ran away together to Essos, she passed away.
Obella considers Brynden's first love and Victus an incredibly personal and private matter, something her spying nature even forbids. She doesn't realize the full depth of the emotional trauma that it caused or how much Brynden withdrew into himself with drink, whoring and war afterwards. If Brynden ever tells her about it she would consider it the ultimate in trust and confidence.

Is Victus growing ? How tall do you think he will become ?

He is, he's in that age range where his growth spurt is about to hit. Brynden has noticed he's losing his baby fat now and is beginning to stretch out into his awkward lanky teenage years just like Brynden had before he filled out.
VIctus is going to end up with his father's build and height, somewhere in that 6' to 6'2" range. Pretty average height for a Malroy.

WIth Victus being away with Dontos and Brynden having to put more attention to his trueborn family. Is there any chance that Victus might develope some kind of jealousy or resentment ?

Victus' drawback is naivety. He doesn't really have the heart for jealousy or resentment. Remember, he was happy when he heard about having a younger sibling, wanting to protect them and that lead to him doubling down on his training so he could be the swornsword they deserved. His only real issue is he wishes he knew/had a mother. He's never really known a matronly figure in his life, Obella is kind to him but it isn't really the same thing. Brynden had hoped at one point that his mother, Lady Esemella Hayford, would be able to raise him in Steadhold, knowing she would happily take him in and cool Lord Vamos' wroth. There was a good period of time right before he was summoned home where he had considered sending Victus back to Westeros so he could grow up properly and with a better family than he could provide. Victus trusts his father's decisions and though he misses him still sees purpose in where he is now.

Garin and Brynden sounds very familiar

They are very much the same character. Love their family a bit too much to for their own good. Both had that hot-headed youth filled with war, whoring and drinking in distant lands. Both came home with a bastard in tow, not being able to let go of the women that they first loved. And both have the potential to become far more than they ever thought to be. Garin became the Master of Law in his final years, it remains to be seen what becomes of Brynden as he grows and matures.

If/when Obella ever visit the court in Kings Landing and the ladies shit talk her husband. What would she do ?

Find out their secrets and ruin them or blackmail them into submission. Then start turning them into unwilling informants.
You don't fuck with Obella's man.

What does Dontos think of the Dornish influence in Steadhold ?

It isn't super overt yet and he's been spending a lot of time in Blacksaithe. Of course there are smaller things, Obella has changed up some of the kitchen staff to suit her palate, which Brynden actually enjoys. The decoration has kipped up a bit, but Dontos doesn't really notice that sort of thing much. And there's only a handful of her people around, the silk troupe, some courtiers, spies that come and go, her bodyguard... So yeah the dornish influence isn't really there yet. Brynden doesn't really care one way or the other so eventually it'll grow but that depends upon how much leeway Brynden gives and funnels his wealth into.

Will Obella 'smug in Dornish' when she meet Brynden's old fiances ?

Lady Sabrina Sunglass? In some senses I imagine so yes. She ended up marrying a cousin of House Bar Emmon, pretty far off the main branch. Brynden was suppose to be a pretty far step up for her, given that Ser Roderick Sunglass was just a second-born son himself and her his only daughter and child. So yeah Obella is going to be a bit smug because of her status comparably. That and she is definitely the more attractive woman and that she would satisfy Brynden's drives to the point of faithfulness.
Sabrina is of the opinion that she did better by simply not having to deal with the walking court disaster that Brynden is. All things considered the better Lords and Ladies of the Realm still see Brynden as this drunk sellsword with a penchant for fathering bastards and giving them prominent places in his Household. Sure rumors go both ways for Brynden, but it isn't always sunshine and its only been a year and half. Just depends upon who you ask but Sabrina definitely sees him as an undeserving man with a dornish slut of a wife.

Any word on how the bastard redward is doing? Also any news from our sister?

As of right now, no. He's gone quiet as a mouse. Which is actually more frightening then him being active. It means the leash has tightened or he's actually thinking for once. Obella is doing her best though.
Isis writes to Brynden regularly, small letters here and there that arrive with the Hand's seal. There's a nice little pile building while he's away in Highgarden. For the most part she's just happy to have a touch of peace, she avoids the hardest parts right now, i.e. the looks she gets at court, the twins, and dealing with Lysa Arryn. She knows Brynden does need the extra stress and she knows her brother well enough to assault him with knowledge over the twins. It's difficult. But both are just happy to be able to speak again.

Should we trust Littlefinger ?

We've interacted with Littlefinger like what? Twice at most? Baelish isn't even a blimp on Brynden's radar. Though he is definitely in the process of setting up shop in King's Landing right now, making his smaller moves at the moment I very much doubt Brynden even remembers his name. He (soft recon) isn't even acting Master of Coin, he just works for the current Master of Coin Runceford Redwyne (bonus points if anyone knows where he's from) in a smaller capacity and just happened to be the one there to read out the Crown's demands in return for being welcomed back into the King's Peace, something he had a major hand in devising.

I am curious. If Brynden were there. How would Obella handle the current situation ?

Deferring to his better judgment. She isn't the war wager or the battlefield general. She's the spy the hand behind Brynden's back in support. You have to remember she's only 20, the Obella that Mason sees is the young woman with the weight of a House upon her shoulders. In this regard she's almost entirely out of her depth, the edict Brynden had left behind was an emergency measure, only Brynden, Obella, Benjin and Ashby had been aware of it, the latter two most having written it with Brynden. The decision to land Mason was so she could maintain some semblance of control over a situation that was certainly going to boil over, that's the best she could do.

Do we have a bath house in Steadhold or something to that effect ?

Not really. Brynden has a copper tub from Myr that he had brought home with him touch of master-craftsmanship there, in a side room to the master suite he lives in, Obella is particularly fond of it. Some of the others have similar things, depends upon their personal wealth and where they're from. Mason, Benjin, Elionwy, those sorts. But mostly it's just personal baths. In the end Aeson didn't really see such a thing as a necessary in the very spartan and militant castle that Steadhold is.

Fuck. I just realised. When the war happpens we will more or less be forced to fight for the throne. Meanwhile Cecillia and Dorian are in Maidenpool which is a part of the Riverlands. And even if he is not going to be fighting, Maidenpool gets sacked three times. Fuck.

Not really forced. I've gone into it before that Brynden might have some options during the WOTFK. The Blackbridge is a major crossing into King's Landing and a strategic choke point from both directions. A Westerlands House owns the other cross over further down the Blackwater Rush so that isn't a concern but House Malroy is the key to entering King's Landing from the west in the Crownlands. Other factions will make an attempt to court Brynden to their side.
But yeah, Maidenpool is a real dangerous spot during the war. Who knows what's going to happen there depending upon who Cecillia marries.

Has it ever been told how Obella got that scar above her eye?

It has not.
It's actually pretty simple really, whenever she was bucked from that horse during her youth she fell and cracked her head pretty good. All things considered the Maester did a fair enough job. Depending upon the mark and the mission the story will change though to whatever she finds necessary; dagger fight, errant arrow, a tumble from her silks, etc. etc.

How is Obella's view on Victus now adays ? Is she relieved to have him away from Steadhold ?

Obella likes Victus well enough, she finds his naivety and general disregard for his status as a bastard endearing. He reminds her more of a baseborn boy she knew in her youth in Sandstone.
She doesn't mind if Victus is home in Steadhold or not. As far as she is concerned it isn't her business what Brynden does with Victus or Dorian. So long as it doesn't jeopardize her children inheriting Steadhold.

>>Dontos loves his family, and his disdain for bastards is born of something other than his adherence to the Faith, he just uses that to hide behind. But yes, on the whole Dontos and Victus get along famously now.// Dontos is a secret bastard! Calling it now.

Nah, absolutely not. Completely wrong direction on that theory. Dontos is trueborn as you can be.

How would our brother and the Celtigar girls marriage turn out ? Bet she would be pretty bummed that she didnt marry the handsome second son. Could just imagine her trying to get into Bryndens pants.

Well first she wouldn't have even known about Brynden because this is assuming Donold survived the Rebellion, which wouldn't give him or Dontos cause to call Brynden back from Essos. So can't really speak to her jealousy or attempts to get into the superior Malroy brother.
Second, the original deal was Donold would marry Lady Hilda Celtigar, the first-born daughter of House Celtigar, and the woman now married to Lord Monford Velaryon. Strictly speaking it would have been a loveless marriage, Donold didn't particularly care for those sorts of affairs and would have only been in it for the heir and child to help rebuild his House. Hilda isn't any spring chicken herself, having taken after her parents in such a way that she is the unpleasant type of plump. So... The children might have ended up a bit more on the unfortunate side, though actually far more likely to look Valyrian as Hilda is silver haired and pale blue eyed and her blood is a touch stronger.

Before Brynden left did he have any friends in Kinglanding if so, who ? Anyone who had a crush on him ?

Brynden's first real friend was Mason, when he was roughly 15-16 and the latter was 23-24 and a fair few years into his own banishment. Brynden didn't get along easily with other squires, wasn't as quick to adhere to his teachings and act as a gracious little lordling for the opportunity. Brooding isn't an exclusively Dontos thing in the Malroy family, and Brynden was no stranger to it in his youth. He didn't come into that sellsword-y charisma until a few years down the line. Had he stayed in Westeros it likely would have still developed within a more sophisticated sphere, but not quite the same as the man Obella came to love.
As for crushes, oh for certain a fair few. He had his awkward stage early when he was a gangly youth before starting to fill out during his time in King's Landing. Mostly servants about House Sunglass' manse. He didn't sleep with them mind, he only slept with Lysa of Tyrosh, she had been his first and only until the whirlwind tour of Essos.

Does Victus know anything about the whole Dorian situation ?

Not a word of it, everyone aware; Brynden, Dontos, Rickard Wence, and Obella, have never mentioned it all around him. As far as Victus is aware and cares Lorelei is his only sibling, even if it's only by half. Cecilia and Dorian are kept at a safe distance.
Who knows if Dorian and Victus will ever be made aware of each other. Let alone if Dorian will ever be acknowledged, an interesting situation that.

How big of a uptick in interest in our horses after the joust?

Fairly well. The Reach has always been the best business for House Malroy, the whole Knight culture and the amount of gold coat of arms about certainly helps. In all actuality it is very surprising that a Malroy has never married a significant House from the Reach... The deal Brynden worked out with Olymer Tyrell and will further work out with Willas Tyrell will further expand their popularity within the Reach as Tourney and Warhorses both.

Seems like one of Bryndens greatest weakness' is that he loves too much

Most definitely. He allows it to color a lot of his decisions, especially when it comes to his family. Note most of the time the extremes of his emotions have come out it has had to do with his family.

Has Dontos warmed up to Victus since he began squiring for him ?

Significantly. Victus being so willing to adhere to the Faith and being such a diligent learner has helped significantly as well. Brynden had an inkling Dontos would soften overtime. Dontos loves his family, and his disdain for bastards is born of something other than his adherence to the Faith, he just uses that to hide behind. But yes, on the whole Dontos and Victus get along famously now.

Could we have horse archery contest at celebrations along with joust and other sports?

You know, I feel like we really could. I'd have to cobble together some house rules, probably rolls regarding Animal Handling>Ride and Marksmanship>Bows. I might research that a bit, see what I can find historically. Surely the Mongolians had something similar.

So how's Mason's bannerhouse coming along?

Not too bad. I've been putting together a way to do it in character and run a little House creation thread at the same time. Probably just prior to Brynden leaving for Highgarden. Get some Mason decisions on how he wants to rebuild his Tower. Brynden decisions on what Lands and Defense we want to give to the Blackflowers. And get some small story related things regarding Mason and Elionwy.

What does Obella's mother think of her daugters taste in men, what does she think of her son in law ?

Lady Elysa Dayne has always found Obella's taste in men to be of poor quality. Her first couple were some real winners, that arrogant cocky knight and a Lordling that attended the Prince. Just not that great at picking men on her own. Elysa actually had a hand in Doran's schemes that sent her to Brynden. In saying that it's fair to assume she had signed off her approval on his dossier. I never got to do any interactions with them but she did like Steadhold and the way Brynden and Obella were together. She left early to return home and see to Sandstone since Quentyn was in Steadhold helping with the Invasion of the Princewood. So yeah overall, she approves to some degree.
