Oh, i'm sorry, i didn't mean to stress you or anything. Hope you feel better soon. Just wanted you to know that i found you really funny on Lou's stream.

Do I know you?
I thought I was too awkward on his stream tbh. But I was even more nervous in my very first stream with a YouTuber ever, so I guess I've improved. Glad someone thinks I'm funny.
The school semester ends next week, so after that, I'll get new classes I'll actually like. Thanks for being concerned about me, at least.
First video should be up before the end of the month, or else that particular one is never gonna see the light of day. It's time sensitive, that's why.

When are you going to start making youtube vids?

Ask that to the part of my brain where all the self-doubt, depression, angst, school problems, and general lack of motivation lives.
I have 3-4 scripts nearly done, but every time I read them, I hate them. That's why I should have had all those out by now. I've got videos besides review-ish stuff planned for sure too. (It deals with music)
I'm really sorry. Please understand.

Have you read Deadman Wonderland?

Read/skimmed the first volume of the Viz release at my local bookstore a while ago.
I've seen the anime, and that was kinda bad.

What...?

What is the most cancerous and biased news outlet for you?

I'm gonna be a bit creative and say American Universities. I could say Washington Post, New York Times, or MSNBC, but I feel nothing is more powerful in its influence than college campuses and the "educators" (indoctrinators) to the young voting generation.
(And whoopee, I get to look forward to going to college in a few years.)

Do you have any interest in getting into the graphic novel medium?

Anime (and manga) have taken too much of my life away. So, quick answer, not really.
Off the top of my head, I have read Raina Telgemeier's (probably spelled it wrong) GN Smile, as well as The Amulet vol. 1. That's about it. I liked both.

What's your favorite studio?

Anime studios? Okay.
-Bones. Amazing work in action shows with their own flavor of crazy that I adore. A lot of their animators really know how to use 3D space when it comes to action choreography. Their quieter, softer non-action stuff they do also looks gorgeous.
-Kyoto Animation. I guess it's an ideal, "role model" studio. They have quite possibly the best conditions in the industry, and have a very high standard of quality, and lots of love put into their shows.
Those are the 2 I can think if off the top of my head I like a lot.

Why do you want to get involved in the youtube anime community? Who inspires you? What do you think about the current state of the community? What are the things you can change with your future videos? And finally, how are you? :)

1) I have no one IRL to talk to about anime. I want to talk to viewers and other anime YouTubers. Been watching YouTube anime channels and videos for over 2 years now. Tried an anime review-ish blog for about a year but that wasn't the experience I was looking for, nor did it get any real traffic. YouTube will allow me to use my voice, and be more "out there."
2) Inspiration? Way back in the day, my biggest inspiration was Glass Reflection, and he still is a big one today. My old blog reviews were very much modeled after his stuff. My video style will be similar to that of Gigguk's REALLY old videos (You gotta start somewhere.) I could list a lot of anime channels that have inspired me, but that would be too long. Non anime YouTube things that have inspired me are moviebob, Yahtzee at Zero Punctuation, maybe a little bit of CinemaSins, maybe WatchMojo circa 2013 (before they were crap) for my top list scripts, ANN reviews, and maybe Game/Film Theory.
3) Current state of the community? Well, it's a lot of things. You still have the episode reviewers/professional fanboys with uneducated opinions who publish 3X a day and stir up drama, but as long as they stay away from this side of the community, I think I'll be fine. You have the clickbait anime top lists channels, and there's really nothing we can do about them either. Leave them alone, to the normies. There's the elitist douches, who try to be smart and think they're better than everyone else through their 2deep4u videos, analyses, and tastes in anime. If a channel is none of the above, I'm usually fine with them, and would probably like to talk to them sometime or another. Heck, I'd actually be fine with talking to some of the elitists for a good argument. We're very divided, but I also see plenty of collaboration and talking between lots of these anime YouTubers, even between those from the different "cliques," as Kisa (TheOtakuChic) would put it. We're a mass of burning buildings and crazy screaming people, but we're begrudgingly a community, nonetheless. A bit rougher to join now though than a few years ago.
4) Well I haven't published anything yet, (I'M SORRY) but I know my visuals and editing are going to be bottom level. It's all but guaranteed I'll improve with experience, though. I hope to make my scripts more interesting, like the aforementioned ANN reviews. I hope to improve voice quality. Anything can be improved, it's just a matter of how fast.
5) I typed all this on my phone while in the car on the way to Chicago. I'm fine, Winter Break just started today, but I'm feeling a bit sick in my stomach now. It's probably nothing. Probably just hungry. Thanks. This was fun to write all this.

It's no problem on the previous question. I'll ask a more broad one. Do you have a favorite series of novels?

GAH, I DON'T CHECK THIS THING OFTEN ENOUGH.
Okay, confession time: I haven't found the time/motivation to read a whole lot in the past year or two. (I know, shameful.) The only things I can recall are these (what I now consider) trashy YA girls books from middle school. *shudder*
To answer your question, either Harry Potter (Generic answer...) or Riordan's PJO/Heroes of Olympus books. There's something I just absolutely adore about the author's voice in both and how the characters grow with the reader, aka me.
Lame answers, so please don't denounce my pleb tastes yet, I'm still young and have a lot more to experience.
