awww.. thats a very sensitive one. the fact that they are letting the person go may mean they know that the person deserves much better than what they can offer. but in doing that they would hope that the person loves them equally to not want to leave but stay and love them back. twisted but fuelled with deep emotions
if someone really loves u as hard as it is if they know they arent doing right by u cant be selfish in wanting to keep u but let u go to the one who will do and be better. many have problems they dont know how to deal with and even though it means losing the one they love still cant step up to change. thats where its beyond human help and understanding and that of God to take over...
if thats said to u I really respect the person for saying that. it shows they arent selfish, it does hurt but in finding any peace they will do when they know u love them as much as they love u..
