Who do you trust the most?

idk but def not ask.fm, spamming ads and questions. pretty sure none of these questions are from real people these days because i get a new question the exact same time every day

How do you compose music? Like how do you make the piano loops and everything like that.

Well, there are many answers to this question, but it depends, are you looking for a technical answer? Or perhaps a methodical one, about my thought process?

did you grow up on any Nintendo/Sega games or possibly even any anime? I hear a lot of influence in your music! :)

I did grow up on quite a bit of Nintendo Gamecube games, and some Sega, but not really much retro stuff. I watched some anime as a kid.

how can you write such amazing piano pieces when you can't actually play piano? and do you want to learn, i guess?

It's really not that hard; you just have to be methodical with composition.
I would love to learn piano, but it's not really high priority right now. I don't really care to spend money and time to go see a teacher and learn how to. I'm not really a performer, and it's a skill set I'm not super interested right now--I've other things on my plate atm.

Would you be interested sharing me your thoughts on my latest single? I hope it's not too much trouble! Much appreciated! ^_^ https://goo.gl/tGFuzW

sounds really cool, cool comp, cool arrangement, some melodies sound kinda random at times. the mix really needs a lot of work; a lot of things are off here and there. this could be an amazing track if perfected.

is there eny way i could have a sheet of one of your songs (heal me). i would love to learn how to play it.

Sheet music doesn't exist sorrie

I want to see if there's a label you may have forgotten about. Have you tried Proximity?

Proximity is a promoter, not a label, so I can still pursue an upload with an independent release. With this release, I'm testing the waters of how far I can get without the resources of a label.

The one asking for creativity help.

There's two ways about it; music is art, and art is expression. If you have nothing to express, then go out and do something else or live your life until you find inspiration. Secondly, sometimes you need discipline and a steady work ethic. It goes both ways.

What does a bad teacher in the creative field that keeps everything formulaic, and a good teacher that tries to cultivate creativity do differently? Your talk about your teachers in your recent stream made me start questioning my own teachers.

The formulaic teacher will reward students for doing exactly what they are told. For example, if the songs we submitted and showcased in class were exactly 'how it's supposed to be,' i.e. chorus being repetitive and simple, verse long and plot-telling, etc., the teacher would applaud that.
The other teacher would point out the formulaic structure and try to break you apart from it; urging you to think outside the box. That teacher would show you examples, suggest methods, contrasting songs, etc. That teacher would probably scold you for your formulaic structure.

Thanks for the insight, I'll stick with private school then. Also, why are you streaming so late?

Well, it doesn't exactly mean private or public like I said, just your environment. Or maybe the problem is you. I dont know.
I stream random times because my sleep schedule always rotates.
