After Klaus took Elena to New Orleans, cause he needed the latest Doppelganger's blood to make his own hybrids, Elena had no other choice, except coming with Klaus and do his order and let him to use her blood for sure. Klaus locked her in a weird room, cause he knew that Elena was smart and she could find a way to run away from him, so that was the best thing that Klaus could do, at least for the few days that he needed Elena and her blood.

After Klaus moved to New Orleans, his home town with Elena, to make his own hybrids there too, Elena didn't know where she was, cause she have never been in New Orleans before, Klaus locked her in the room, he was making his plans, to finally use her blood to make his new hybrids as soon as he could, he Met Damon, another Salvatore, an old friend, He trusted Damon so he wanted to show him his house and Even Elena, the human doppelganger.
